I own MG HS. Been driving for more than a month. 1. Combined fuel average Im getting is 9/100L which is around 11. In city I’m getting 11-12 2. AC performance is really good. I have CBU 3. Suspension is a little hard. 4. Infotainment is laggy but usable and gets the job done. No issues. I wish they could have given button for AC controls. 5. Seat are super comfortable. 6. Overall car build quality is absolutely 👍 Overall a great car loaded with options and tech.
I certainly not agree with some points.i used trophy edition for 4 montha 1. FUEL AVERAGE IS PATHETIC. Using overpriced high octane and still giving 7km in city and 12 km on highway with lighter foot. 2. Choice wise i opt for cvt rather then DCT. the gear shift is laggy and gives a jhatka when shifting gears. 3. Entertainment system what was the use , no maps in it and no internet system connectivity felt like using a cd player without the cd from 2006. 4. Oh man Quality with in 4 months of use. The rexine/ leather was coming out from door panels. Body to weight ratio is good. Tyres are absolutely brilliant.. But trust me you can not keep this as a long term usage car.. i sold mine... many will understand with time..i was happy for this new entrant but after some.time i was disappointed..now i understand why the resell are bad..
I dont understand why people are not able to understand that MG HS actually is a great car with very good fuel average. I have the CBU Australian trophy unit and drove it around 20k till now. I easily get 8.5 l/100 km which is close to 12km/l in local with ac. On highway if ur speed is 120, then expect 12-13km/l. For a car of this segment i think this fuel average is quiet good. Atleast in 20000 km mein mujhe to kabhi feel nai howa k petrol zyada kha rahi hai, i had civic X before this with same average almost farq sirf ye hai k is mein sath hi octane mix karta hoon which is not a big deal.
Mg is a nice car, don't let the turbo kick in and it will give you good fuel average. 28k km driven in Lahore, Karachi, motorway highway sukkur to Hyderabad during floods, have faced no issues at all alhamdulillah. Very good car, I don't know why suneel Bhai is always against this car, he was born to hate it... Budget was not an issue for me but out of all cars Fortuner, Sportage Tucson, I preferred mg hs. Very peaceful and comfortable car, I don't even hear bikers when they overtake or anything.

A good car in market comparing other cars. And the best comfortable car. And it's the best selling car in UK. Mashallah. And the problem of AC is not in imported varient.
HS is way more better than the Sportage and Tucson which are exactly the same cars in two different shapes and nothing special with the features, while the MG HS is a futuristic Luxury, Style, Comfort and Safety all in a single car. You really need to get a drive of it and differentiate bw all in this category

Mr Sunil's comment regarding gear transmission of MG HS? There is lots of glitches and sounds from 1to 2 gear and from high to lower gear. Is that normal?
I drive a MG HS in Australia 😊 In terms of issues I'm facing: 1) Breaks are just useless just like the owner said. 2) I have driven a lot of SUV's and MG HS is very unstable on speeds above 100km/h. 3) Infotainment system is full of lag you press a button and it works after 3 secs delay.
