20:57 you are unzipping starter-kit in workstation or client? I am unzipping it in client machine in home/user directory. And, in chef-repo when I am running command "kife ssl fetch" it is saying "The program 'knife' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt install chef". Q1. Where to copy starter-kit? client or server(dedicated)/workstation? Q2. If client, do we need to install chefDK before running "knife ssl fetch"?
Also, if you run the command below, you don’t have to call the chef-client on your nodes as it automates the process [node1] # vi /etc/crontab * * * * * root chef-client Press escape then :wq and hit enter Now your node is automated and scheduled to check for updates from chef server every one min. You can also change this according to your needs. These * depicts minutes, hours, days, month, day of the week respectively
At time of node configration you enter username and password this username password of who's node or my workstation and can i use node my windows machine
When I execute "knife cookbook upload sample" I get "ERROR: Your private key could not be loaded from /etc/chef/client.pem Check your configuration file and ensure that your private key is readable". What am I doing wrong?

Don't we need any http-server to run that index.html file. You need to manually open index.html. How did you do that? Nginx?
@24.31 how you are able to execute 'chef-client' without configuring node
When you perform bootstrap, chef client gets installed to the node, this is one of the feature of bootstrapping other then connectivity to Chef server
Also, if you run the command below, you don’t have to call the chef-client on your nodes as it automates the process
[node1] # vi /etc/crontab
* * * * * root chef-client
Press escape then :wq and hit enter
Now your node is automated and scheduled to check for updates from chef server every one min. You can also change this according to your needs.
These * depicts minutes, hours, days, month, day of the week respectively
At time of node configration you enter username and password this username password of who's node or my workstation and can i use node my windows machine
The username and password are that of workstation.
HI. when i execute knife bootstrap it is asking me for a password again and again. and then it gets fail.
