I've followed WWYD from the start and everytime I find a new video (rarely, as I've watched them ALL), I get so happy. I love seeing people spreading kindness and getting emotional over things that DO matter nowadays.
they are good videos but they don't all have to be about social issues. perhaps they could do some just for fun, like putting people in awkward situations and doing pranks on them.
@@xKarenWalkerxTracy is amazing but too well known. I think one of the best actors was the guy at the carnival. He was just so easy to hate and it felt so real
its interesting to me that these reactions are so much softer than the other nanny episode they did ten years ago, heads were about to roll in that episode.
i think it might be because in that one, the nanny threw the children’s objects and was aggressive to the stroller. while in here her assaults are verbal and she isn’t touching them.
She already did this scenario. She’ll be back, it’s not like they fired her when she’s literally still in the show and never left😂 I even liked the episodes she did last season a few months ago.
Yes, and the one where the kid in the toy store wanted to get her nanny fired (saw that on Reaction Time, in fact it’s how I learned about this show!) They’re recycling content now.
Show is not the same. More soliciting responses from bystanders from the actors. Bystanders say "i knew it" when John comes is not a good thing WWYD. It means the scenario was extremely fake looking
Honestly i think this would have been a better scenario without the "mother" being introduced. The pressure is on when you don't know what will happen after the children are out of your view w/ the Nanny. I personally would have asked the kid for their mothers # if possible and texted/called her myself or the police like the one woman did.
I enjoy watching these kinds of videos to balance out all the negative and inhumanity I experience and see everywhere. Watching the news should be balanced as well. They should also show these types of content and not just the bad ones. I hope more people follow the good examples of these scenarios in real life. Although it might be case to case basis. But if you can, please be nice and kind to people. I try to live by these lines: "Make someone happy, even just one someone happy" "Always look at the bright side of things" "Try to be nice to everyone if you can, because you don't know what they're going through"
Ummm.. It's not nice, thats for sure. But calling the cops, for a babysitter calling children idiots? Bruh. That's 1010% NOT an emergency or reason to call law enforcement at all. And to be fair, some children are idiots. Not these ones, they didn't do anything (in the 1st part). But theres a healthy middle ground here. Be nice to EVERYONE and dooonnn't call law enforcement for words you disagree with. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Surely she would've been redirected to Child Protective Services. Of course it's faster to look up that number, but she was clearly acting out of instinct, and 911 is a number everyone knows.
In India, parents often encourage these kinds of nannies and teachers, thinking they are instilling discipline. I admire the civilized approach of people elsewhere; God bless America.
I've worked with children all my life. The first lady did the right thing by confronting the threat to the children and removing it and made sure to tell the mother how her children were treated and recommended another nanny, as well as subtly telling her to screen better.
I think it’s because their mother wasn’t around and she’d obviously have no way to contact her, so by getting the police involved the mum would find out what’s been happening.
people saying it’s crazy to call the police for the nanny calling the kids idiots but maybe that lady thought if she can say that in front of everyone imagine what she does behind closed doors
This woman is a disgrace! She needs to be fired as a nanny, just horrible the way she's talking to those kids like that, horrible!! I hope she gets fired and is never another person's nanny ever again!!
here's from an educators experience: kids can be brutal, they are (often) pure and unmitigated egoism (kids the age depicted here shouldnt), that's why outsourcing education to random nannies that are half kids themselves and hopelessly impatient/self-occupied is not the best idea - and certainly a disservice to future generations.
This hits home for me because I grew up with Asperger’s syndrome, and I remember being treated unfairly by my resource teacher from time to time. Once in third grade, she nearly encouraged me to stop watching my favorite Rock ‘N Learn video, Colors, Shapes & Counting, because only kindergarteners can watch it, and not older kids like me. During the same year, she made me wear a different colored t-shirt on a certain day because she was tired of me coming to class every day with a red t-shirt, even though she knew red was my favorite color. Once in fourth grade, when I was singing a couple of children’s songs while doing a worksheet, The Wheels on the Bus, for instance, she told me to stop singing them because I wasn't in preschool anymore. Once in fifth grade, she nearly forbid me from bringing an imaginary friend to school and said I’d be in trouble if she caught me. This last example bothers me the most. During the same year, she once told me I acted like a two-year-old after I was upset when a classmate with brittle bone disease, or osteogenesis imperfecta, accidentally took my seat at a computer and both the teacher and classmate asked me to move to another computer. To top it off, the next day I came to class, when I told my teacher how I felt about what she told me, she didn’t bother to apologize if she hurt my feelings. She still insisted that I was acting like a two-year-old and told me not to keep living in the past. I never told anyone about these moments because I thought she was just trying to do her job as a teacher. But I now realize that the behavior of my resource teacher was inappropriate, especially after telling my mom for the first time in my mid-twenties. I remember her being appalled and angry, and then telling me that my teacher most likely would have been either suspended or fired from her teaching job. It’s a shame how some people treat children, even those with autism. Knowing there’s people out there like my resource teacher and the Karen nanny who this actress played, it’s hard to trust anybody and find the right people to look after your children. And the sad thing is that some kids choose not to tell their parents about a certain adult looking after them either because they’re being threatened to keep quiet, or they don’t know what the adult is doing is wrong. To those of you who have kids or little siblings, be sure to encourage them to speak up and let them know if they feel they’re being treated poorly by an adult who’s supposed to be supporting them. That includes if it’s a teacher, principal, nanny, or even a family member. Otherwise, the actress who played the Karen nanny did a wonderful job! She actually pissed me off!

We need more scenarios like this where the actors are realistic and they wait for people to STEP IN instead of asking for their “advice.” Love this!
