It reminds me of the Gypsie wagons of the past, very cool
Absolutely what it reminds of me….
Was looking for the description. I thought this is very western but that works better.
@@MrZeewe70Or a large mailbox!
There are some good, if unusual ideas here. I like the wet clothes drying rack next to the fire.
Designed after working out of sheep camps in inclement weather. You got to have a place to dry things off without wetting the rest of the camp. I added a couple of magnetic cupboard hooks to the a-frame of the rack to hang gloves from and a hook above on the wall to hang your hat to dry also.
It was sooooooooo awesome to see a solo or couple’s RV without an uncomfortable outdated “1950’s diner” booth dinette💥💥💥
Watch next week’s! (No dinette!) 😉
Lots of things I consider a waste of space you could use for storage: 1. Vanity sink; 2. dinette; 3. open space for open space sake; 4. Lack of overhead storage for openess sake; 5. Failure to optimize under bed storage access from inside and out.
@@mitchjaurena4709 That’s why I constantly push for as many “options” as possible to fit every person’s needs👍because the only time I ever want to sit at a dinette is when I’m reading a menu to order breakfast😂
@@mitchjaurena4709
I agree 100%! I personally would have gone smaller with ours, but had to concede to husband’s comfort 😏 (ex. big shower). And we did create a space for our dogs (which is easily storage as well). But I nixed the dinette, and we both agreed a vanity in the bathroom is silly.
@@walkinharmonyhomestead2888 Another person and dogs would make this camp way too small. In fact, after showing it to friends and family the last week, I found another person in the camp is one too many! However, for one person, there is plenty of room and storage.
I thought I had a good idea of what "good camping" was .... and then I come across Peak Mountain, and now my reference of camping trailers has been shattered in the best way possible. These look so amazing!
Set up properly, these are a remote camping, boondocker's dream or set up another way the ultimate glamper. The key is you can customize and make it fit your needs, wants, and likes.
Sheep shack was my 1st thought when seeing it.
I could live in this. It’s a tiny house camper combo. Very cool.
Gosh guys, I thought it was well made and beautiful. The customer got exactly what they wanted. Who wouldn’t want that?
this is my camp and I am out in it right now. I got exactly what I wanted, nothing I didn't want and it all works like I imagined. Most of the negative commentors don't have a clue what they are talking about. Let them go buy a poorly constructed toothpick and 1/8th in ply board factory built pos. with slide outs. They will be whining about it in no time..
I bet you love it! I would be very happy with one. Currently looking for now. I love the design and all the customization you can do. Not to mention the quality!
Mary, take a look at an X 26. Not too big, yet the additional inches would make my floor plan plenty spacious for 2 people.
I will check it out. Thanks
This is nice. Kinda what I'm looking for. Perfect for just 1 person but has what's needed.
I thought I recognized that Utah accent. Love this camper!
The Wheels are even round this camper is amazing 😂😂😂😂
High class Sheep camp 👍
Yeah. My brothers said that isn't a sheep camp, it is too ritzy. If you can take a shower in it, it no longer qualifies as a sheep camp.
@@mitchjaurena4709 true !
My dog and I would be extremely comfy in a rig like this
You get it! Exactly what I designed it for.
I love this RV!
Wow! What a outstanding layout!! Well thought out!
Thanks. Several years of thought and many years of working out of sheep camps and living in tight spaces aboard ship as a Marine gave me insight on needs, wants and likes.
@@mitchjaurena4709Semper Fi!
hunting fishing and the right truck..nice job
Hay I love it my wife won't because it's too thin for her. That's a man cave camper .
EXACTLY!
So funny; for us, I (the wife) wanted a smaller camp, but husband insisted it be bigger 😏
Excellent and efficient design 👍🏻
That is a great layout. Very much a form follows function.
Thanks! I tried to make things functional while looking good at the same time, like a fine Spanish Double Barrel Shotgun.
What an awesome looking travel trailer. Looks well built.
Thank you!
I would have a removable nose cone molded so this doesnt tow like a friggin parachute.
I know right
Hinged nose cone that could be raised as a porch roof when stopped.
@@2crazyinalabama Yeah, like a vestibule! Good idea
Damn. It's perfect.
Love this floor plan!
Fantastic build
Super cool! Really like it.
Wow! That’s outstanding! Good job!
I saw one of these drive by today in Ennis MT and thought WTF is that , at first I thought it was a sheep herders wagon and bingo here it is , Very cool . Thanks for the tour
I love it. It’s simple ❤
I’ve seen a trailer on the roa . Something similar to this trailer. I just wish I had a better view of the make or model.
Aluminum or vinyl sided, stick and tin. Looks great inside, but I like cold weather camping.
Very interesting! Thank you Weston.
that's one of the things I would think all travel trailers would have. Under frame storage.
For a wood stove, I hear the Kimberly gasifier would be more efficient.
I thought about getting a Kimberly and was really on the fence with it. But the Dwarf, with outside air draw, answers nicely. Having used the stove for the last two days you don't use much wood at all. A Kimberly would be a great idea however .
@@mitchjaurena4709 The Kimberly uses outside air for draft as well. The main difference I've seen is the Kimberly has to use smaller pieces of wood than common.
I have seen them and investigated them thoroughly. What I meant was that this Dwarf Stove does the same, so I went with the Dwarf to be able to use larger chunks. It really was a toss up.
Very nice job!
Thanks!
Nice rv - the door could use a little finesse on the finishing but that’s just my personal preference
Loved it
We wouldn't get much use out 9f that cast ir9n stove in Texas. Need a good AC though
We would in Montana! Glad to see it!
I like the small wood stove , i grew up with wood stove heat and think it`s the best, by the way who made that stove ? .
This is amazing. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to buy one and travel. Much as I would love to. Maybe when my kids move to the UP. Something to keep in mind!!
Excellent
Nice!
Looks like a modern sheepherder wagon
Very Nice 👍
Never saw a herder in a sheep camp like that!
But they sure would like to be 😆
You have now... Albeit former herder
I love it! My only concern is the wood burning stove seems too big for the space. I know a lot of bigger, tiny homes have very small wood burning stoves and the owners have to open the windows because it gets way too hot. I hope the builder cleans up all the dust and dirt before giving it to the customer. I wouldn't accept a new item that dirty.
Is it rated for winter camping? I’m surprised about the weight but then I see it’s surrounded by steel plates.
It is rated for winter camping, in fact they are meant to be lived in year round.
That make s perfect sense. I was thinking man that’s about the right size but heavy. if it’s built strong and insulated right. It makes sense. Thank you for responding.
@jeffroman2352 happy to help.
Nice unit
Thank you!
How does it tow with that flat frontal surface?
It tows nicely as long as you stay in the 65mph range. More than that and my F250 6.2l gas engine starts to suck down the gas and drops a gear to keep it pulling above 65/70 mph
Great
For Me ,Corners ABSOLUTELY need to be Radiused,ie no as in NONE Sharp Corners.
Screen door?
I have thought about one, but with the other windows and fantastic fan it has adequate ventilation. I spent 3 days with 100 plus degree week days. I have added a small 12vt fan to blow over me near the bed.
The rocker spring mount will twist off the frame
Please provide any proven examples with supporting documentation you have of that out of the blue and currently unsupported statement.
I can't understand putting a door on the front of a trailer that's being dragged at the speed of hurricane for force wind in the rain.
Tradition, the horses would be in front and the driver would sit inside and drive the horses with the top half of the dutch door open. Or something like that 🤯
I'm wondering about the wood fired stove. In the winter, I need something besides expensive electricity, and the propane heater in my trailer is crap. How do you supply ventilation to the stove?
There is an external feed
Propane is a no go, it'll cause so much dampness you'll be moldy, wet and miserable. Wood keeps you dry and warm plus, you'll never run out.
Where's the loo?
look at 19:10
It looks like a loaf of bread on a flatbed trailer.
Ignore the negative comments.
Not bad for $9,000.....
Seriously? I figured it would be 90 grand lol
70 grand is what I paid
Basque home
Yes, yes it is. Ongi Etorri.
I love the set up,but pull the camera back!! I dont need to be setting 6 feet from the screen to watch!!!
Noted 😆
Do you make a fifth wheel RV. ?
Larry, they can make anything you want.
I like it, but don't know about the shower. 🤔
I am not a little guy and the shower works out fine for me. It is "tightish" but not so much so that you can't move around to get the job done.
@@mitchjaurena4709
Ok, thank you.
Take a look at my update. If you went with an X-26 (6" wider and 2' longer) you could get more space for a bigger shower, more room at the bed and room for a double recliner and the camp wouldn't be that much bigger on the outside. I chose compact for a variety of reasons, but if you don't need to be as compact as I did, you could expand ever so slightly and make a big difference in the comfort level.
What is the price of this camp.
$70,000 is what I paid.
What is the price range.
I paid $70,000
Can you install a pellet stove ?
Have you ever used a pellet stove? They REQUIRE alot of clean electricity to operate. Even the cheaper low tech options like Pelpro. It would be totally impractical in a Camper . You would need a huge generator to create a constant source for the 115VAC power to run the stove.
We rented a house years ago with a pellet stove. I will never own one again, what a pain in the arse. It was actually much more expensive to run.
They put out good heat when you know how to use them. But the things require a huge amount of maintenance and care to burn clean and efficient. Personally I'll take a plain old wood burner any day.
Why are there so many dings and spots of paint all over...? It would be a great trailer home if those issues didn't exist. Well thought a well-thought-out design, but I could not accept those issues.
I think the camera exaggerates those items. There really isn't noticeable dings and paint spots looking at it.
For what those AGM batteries cost and weight he’d be better off putting Lithium in it and get rid of that electric/ propane fridge and put in a 12v compressor fridge in it, more room without having fans in it , I know cause I did that to my rv and haven’t looked back, love more room for food and don’t have to worry about defrosting it.
All about redundancy and compromise. I have a 30l compressor fridge freezer I am running as a freezer. I am tried several options with another trailer I owned and settled on this combination. So far, so good.
Ugh. Sorry this guy is a bit slow, by the time this video ends the owner will have traded it in for a newer model....
DO VOLUME CHECKS !!!
Why are you shouting?
I am very impressed with the layout and amount of storage in this camper. If it had AC, I could move right in there as it is. Good job, @mitchjaurena4709.
Thank you. I purposely left out the A/C as I boondock and rarely if ever use shore power and I absolutely HATE the sound of a generator. But for some, it is a requirement.
I am sure that AC can be added without much issue.
looks like a sheep herders wagon😂... baaa...
In fact , it is.
@@mitchjaurena4709 baaaa
congrats, you make an ugly version of gypsy wagon?
Im sorry but you sound like the son of George HW Bush and Mr Rogers
😂
This bloody stupid
I would rather say no sorry we won’t build that rather that make big mistake
It has the aerodynamics of a brick. It would be a total hand brake to tow and fuel consumption would be terrible.
The use of Dimond plate polished should be illegal for other road users as it blinding
I would NEVER drive that thing a mile on the tiers that are now there in this video!!!! JUnk.IMO.
Well, Like a lot of things, everyone has got one.
6:55/6:59 horrible craftsmanship
???? Not sure what you see.
Rediculas
One of the worst layouts I’ve seen.
HAHAHA, I love this constructive comment. Let's see your design Skippy.
Jim Jordan is right. They all should be defunded and disbanded, then start over with an uncorrupt group.
Dude these let's put as much stuff in a small space crap sucks ...
I guess you could buy a box trailer, put in a folding lawn chair, a five gallon bucket and sleep on the floor, if that is your bent.
Perfect to haul to your own property or favorite camp and dock it for a few weeks. Great storage and looks simple. ❤
This is a very well thought out setup, better than my old 24ft 5th wheel
Nice trailer. Love all the thought put in it. I live in south Texas and have tons of ideas. We don’t need a furnace. I want to design my camp to have AC but needs to be window unit style so it’s easily replaceable because they only last a few years down here. The rooftop units are to expensive and leak water over time.
We would love to help you out in the design process.
This would be good layout to mount on truck instead of a trailer
That thing has zero aerodynamics. It's completely flat on the front. It would be like towing a parachute. Watch your fuel mileage go down 50%.
At 8600# it wouldn’t matter.
Probably true...but, any camper sucks the fuel
It’s a camp. At least that’s how I’d use it
There is no free lunch. I tow a 32 footer that tips the scales at 11,000 lbs with my super duty and it gets 12 mpg average. Nothing worth pulling and setting up in is going to offer any sort of economy. Car camping is an option for the masochists in the crowd I suppose =)
It's built in the shape of the sheepherder wagons. Those only went as fast as a horse or oxen. 😅
Lots of interior goodies in such a small place. This is 1st time seeing this brand. This looks like a perfect hunting trailer. Don't think i can afford to pull a flat barn door lol. Craftsmanship looks really nice. Better than factory.
Is or does that Diamond plate have option of being electified thru Solar Panels to SHOCK Bears that come into Camp.
Not a bad idea 👍
I had a bear just 50 yards down from camp fishing in the river this weekend. When he saw me, he hightailed it out of the area. I think he found me shocking enough!
Looks like a covered wagon ftom. the 1800's
That's awesome simple but gots everything needed. that freezer area is awesome idea
That’s awesome
Cool like the modern remake of sheaperts wagon
The guy is definitely a loner. This is like a portable bunker.
Sheepherding isn't a group sport.
@@mitchjaurena4709 I pity the sheep lol
He knows where this world is heading and this is his portable bugout camp.
If need be yes.
Ok well if you say so. I want a 30' x 60' pull behind hunting lodge.
Absolutely awesome
I LOVE YA’LL’S WORK!!!
That is definitely made in America!!! This camper is definitely ROCK SOLID 🪨
Thank you!
These are quite common with sheep herder camps and in some cases used in cattle camps. I see them all the time during spring and summer.
You must be from the west?
Dutch Door for Temp Regulator essential. All Desert s are Hot,in Summers but w/ Dutch Doors due to Elevation Temperature can be quickly Lowered to Tolerable.
And will keep you busy swatting flies, wasps and mosquitos! I opted out of it as I have the fantastic fan that pulls an incredible amount of air and can keep it well ventilated. Having lived in sheep camps for REAL growing up, I had to drink an extra quart of water a day just to keep hydrated from the mosquitos LOL.🤣🤣🤣
@@mitchjaurena4709 Good screens make for good neighbors
Outstanding! I could go hunting in this for weeks!! I love this!
That is exactly what is going to happen starting in 2 weeks.
Why is this dude so whiney?
Base along the line of Australian off road caravans,I reckon Australian does the best off road caravan in the world.from down under.
Drop a link for us please.
Very nice camp he planned for maximizing storage
There is still no room no slides no room
You forgot “no problems” 😜
Had no idea a custom pull trailer RV was possible. Love the rounded metal roof, VERY SMART. Good idea to keep inside simple, small. Excellent heating redundancy with cast iron fireplace, gas furnace and electric. Two 30 pound gas tanks…much better. That there is no slide out is a huge plus, must less source of error. Solar panels, electric hookups, outside storage, all great. The door on the end, hitch deck was wonderful, great space saver, with added utility. Solid, well built pull trailer RV. Thanks for sharing…from east Tennessee.
Thanks you for your comment!
Thanks for the comments. I have 40lbs tanks on it. I wanted the extra time between fills as I do extended boondocking. This camp is built for the rough mountains of the West, but would equally be at home in the Tennessee hollars
