I love seeing people still decorating and redesigning their islands, reminds me of the last few years of the New Leaf fandom. I know it's normal for ac fans to stop playing each game after a while, but there is always a core group of players who stick with it until the next game comes out. I feel like this is always when we get the best designs that feel more organic and lived in. After you've played for so many years, you get a much clearer vision of how you'd like your town to look and the flow that works best for you. Loved this vid so much!!
Your little character is so cute and your decorating style is so painterly. You have a great sense for space, color, contrast, and push the limits to cement your theme while making negative space work for you. Stunnin’ luhv
okay commenting again after finishing the tour and first of all I was in fact gagged by the abandoned temple it looks AMAZING. all the decorating in that area is so perfect it doesn't even look like you placed it down, it looks like it's actually been there for like a thousand years (also the lore???? you ate that bestie I'm actually going to school for my fallbrook archaeology degree rn). my other favorite parts were the overgrown forest and the beach campsite!!! it's so lush and summery with the flowers and the palm trees, and you used the in-game paths so well all over the island it really does look like old abandoned roads mixed with desire paths, esp mixed in with the custom paths. all the little alleyways and tucked away hangout areas are so cozy and fun, and the DEDICATION to make the graveyard ohhmyGOD, not to mention the huge lake (the views from the lake and the pond are both so good). I love how I made this comment to talk about my favorite part of the island and I picked like ten things lmao. also why does the inside of whitney and margie's house look exactly like my lesbian nanas' house irl like how did you know that

At 13:00 when he said that one his villagers "left it there but they aren't worried about it getting stolen because everyone here is family", literally so wholesome and amazing. Small beaches are easier to decorate. On the bigger ones I just block off some of it as much as I can I love this island and honestly this channel has helped me go back to ACNH. When you have lore it's so much more fun ^^

Just caught Lucha and Fauna talking to each other in the plaza, Fauna was feeling cold so Lucha offered his jacket to her like a gentleman and now I fully ship them.
