I have to say I have been researching a 36-40' CC for over a year (it's a huge investment) and the sea vee 370 is currently first on my list. The 39 footer is really a larger boat than the 37 footer but they're incredible. The 39 is certainly on the table but it's a big step up in size.
I find the door is more for access in/out of the water and certain boarding scenarios, only a few swordfish through the door but thats it. Usually they came over the rail anyway.
Would you recommend this boat for Bay fishing? Where I would be using it would primarily be the Chesapeake Bay and it's rivers where troll for Rockfish around 5mph or slower.
First off the seat infront of the console you state that seavee is the only one, that is not true. Just off the top of my head I know Intrepid does the same seat design. Second. Seavee dropped the ball on the console. It looks like it was an after thought. Kind out of date. Just a square platform and the old school plastic glass with the switches in the same below spots. For your console set up I would look at the Nortech 392 superfish. Grander Marine has an awesome walk through on youtub of it. Also your tuna door should open to the inside like 99% of other boat builders. They are built that way so it can also be used at dock and not have to worry if you can open or close the door due to tide level how the door will line up with the dock.
Hi David, and thanks for the comments. We appreciate you watching. I have to believe everything SeaVee does is for good reason. That said, we all know every boat is a compromise based on what is important to that particular owner/user. Stay in touch. - Capt Mike
Benefits of a SeaVee include, performance, fishability, resale value, fit & finish, speed, efficiency, rough water handling, a proven tournament winner, should I go on? - Capt Mike
+Hugh Hill We rarely anchor and when we do, we'll usually use an anchor ball set up to retrieve the anchor, unless I want to make the guys sweat it out hand over hand. Capt Mike
There are lots of options regarding power, electronics, seating, levels, etc, you should contact SeaVee Boats direct try for accurate quote. - Capt Mike
Boat looks great, and with the recreational fishing limits changing daily, Like now NOAA wants to cut the snapper catch from 10 to 3 per person. And the fact that selling fish recreational is a federal crime. Unless your a Charter boat Captain or some form of Commercial use. IMHO, you really have to like fishing a lot or have money to burn to justify the cost of one of these boats.
Either bare-bones or used. I don't know what dealership is giving you a 37 foot for 300,000 maybe you guys can get two but standard people I highly doubt it
Florida Sport Fishing but it's cool you guys answered me. I live in key largo and watch the show all the time. I have a 27 pro line. Boat trader for 30,000
Terrible place to put the switches. You want to be able to see and use your switches when running without moving or bending. Plus the switches are old non updated. As a matter of fact the entire console looks like a cut out box. Seavee should look at some of the other boats on the market that are built for hardcore fishing. The tuna door needs to open inward not outward. Can even use the door at the dock. They made a major mistake on their sea chest. The pumps need to be on the outside of the sea chest on in it. Seavee really needs to do some major updating. Take a look at Nor-tech 392 super fish if you want to see a real hardcore center console.
This is absolutely the best sales / Demo presentation I have ever seen on Any Boat Period. Great job ... You sold me forsure...
Thank you for watching. Call me anytime to discuss the 370 in greater detail. - Capt Mike
Agreed. I've seen the ones put out by the manufacturer and yours is far better.

Watched it again to get ready for the fishing trip for your fans....

Poor fish don't have a chance with this rig! One amazing boat. Thanks for posting.
Ha...some still get away. - Capt Mike

jman3336 10-4!
Fantastic video!
fisherman14 Thank you for watching. - Capt Mike
Besides boarding off and on at the dock on that side door how many fish do you guys pull through there?
I find the door is more for access in/out of the water and certain boarding scenarios, only a few swordfish through the door but thats it. Usually they came over the rail anyway.
What is the height from the water line to the top of the buggy top?
awesome boat :)
deatheyes100 Thank you. - Capt Mike

For fishing bays, I recommend the SeaVee 270Z Bay Boat. - Capt Mike
Great Boat, can't wait for you to take a few Fans out for a day of fishing......lol
Karl P Thank you.
Cap'n Mike, you've had the 37 for a little while, how do you like this boat compared to the 39 you had before?
+JON PALMER Better, faster, more fuel efficient, can do anything the 39 can do. - Capt Mike
Thank you for the great videos! The Seavee web site list the weight of the 370Z is 9300 lbs w/o engines. How much does your boat weigh fully rigged?
12,000+ - Capt Mike
I think 12 fishing rods off the boat is almost the same as trawler fishing with nets.

a great boat, why i should buy a SeaVee, and not a scout 420 lxf, can you plz give same pro and contra. Thank you captain

Why do you not use windless?
+Hugh Hill We rarely anchor and when we do, we'll usually use an anchor ball set up to retrieve the anchor, unless I want to make the guys sweat it out hand over hand. Capt Mike
Im guessing this is the start of yalls new season? Iv been waiting since last year lol
nathan butler New season starts in July. - Capt Mike
Check out the offshore Fishing Trip edit I made on the front page of my channel we were on a 29 foot Seavee!
how much does this boat retail for as is?

+BROOMTAIL Cant say I disagree, rules and regs are really tightening up. Who knows whats off limits next. - Capt Mike
That's actually a very nice boat. But it'd be a bitch to tow it to the keys. I would definitely need a dually F-350.....
Yes, a 350 is ideal. - Capt Mike
How much is it
Tyler Mcardle Surprisingly affordable, lots of power/accessories options, price very range from mid $200s to mid $300s. - Capt Mike
So i guess if i have to ask how much then i can afford it?
how much does it cost
Surprisingly affordable, MSRP varies depending on how its rigged. - Capt Mike
It's only $600,000
You can own two for $600K

A 370z is about 300,000 to about 400,000
That would be correct depending on how the boat is rigged.
I don't like the sliding door... If it's raining and your running everything is gonna get wet inside..
Negative, totally watertight and weatherproof, console interior stays dry as a bone, even at 50 into a solid chop! - Capt Mike
It does make more sense than a lift up door. Thanks for the videos, I watch all your videos.
Nothing $300-400K will not buy !!!!!!
Forgot to mention they go for just over half a million lmao you pay for what you get by the looks of this video though
I like to say, the boat is surprisingly affordable. - Capt Mike
