- One man cover of Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd in the style of Depeche Mode.
As a huge Depeche Mode fan I have always wondered what other band's songs would sound like if written and produced by them. This time I tried 'Another Brick In The Wall' by Pink Floyd as I thought that its minor melody and vibe might work well within Depeche Mode arrangement.

True but I can hear a sample from Try Walking in my Shoes too. It’s definitely less obvious than the parts from Never Let Me Down Again but it’s there.
@@rabomarc Yes, and great job spotting this! And it is actually not a sample, I just played the piano myself and use some phaser on it to make it sound similar.

This video should be " If depeche mode covered another brick in the wall" as if they had wrote it, it would not be another brick in the wall, and it would sound completely different.

@@petrsmid7055 i did a remix of a Front 242 song...- "Waste", by using Taylor Swift in the backings. :-) . There are so many possibilities. I think we musicians should use AI rather than ban it. Don't know.
But as a professional musician you should be obliged to label your songs accordingly. I mean the people who make a lot of money from it.
But this combination is very clever. NLMDA is perfect for this. And a little bit "Walking in my shoes" :-)

And you are probably right about using AI, it can definitely make things easier and can be used in a creative way. But personally I do not have any experience with AI in music yet. I agree, the solo is a major part of the song, but as this was a "Depeche Mode like" cover I decided to skip it as DM would probably never play such a long solo in their own song. Hope you enjoyed it anyway, thanks!
