There are times where I am sad because of what the nodules done to her voice because I KNOW SHE wants to sound like she did when she first came out. But this performance I am loving what they done. I am not a vocal expert, but they made her "higher register" sound a lot deeper and she still sounded GOD AMAZING and AUTHENTIC. Her voice is truly like a diamond.
Even voices get older, and some people can't sing after 20, 30, 40 years like they used too....I think this is quite normal. But of course some had bad luck with some illnesses and whatever you can get when it comes to your voice. But she still sounds good. Although she sings a bit lower here.

This was her best perfomance since 1990s. She improved significantly and restored her voice. Mariah can again vary registers and hit high notes at the same time. You can tell her back vocal was happy with what she was doing and was supporting her.

Guys I am sorry but a lot of vocalists use prerecorded notes. Celine does it and so does Mariah. You can hear that her voice has a more raspy tone to it. The last note is live. But from 2.02 is is pre recorded and you can hear the difference.

this is the best live version she's done in a minute. she lipped the usual parts, but I think she should go for it next time. It's plenty low enough now those belts are right in her sweet spot. Maybe if she did more of the difficult parts during shows her voice would be warm enough to execute
