In 1976 when this was released, I was nine years old and my older brother John bought it. In the years that have passed, every song and I mean every song from this album has been on the radio at one time or another. This is truly one of the best debut albums ever.
I was 10 then, and it was my older sister that bought and played it. Loved it ever since.
I WAS TWENTY ❤ AND MY CHILDREN LOVE IT... PLUS ALMOST ALL THAT
I HAD LISTENED TO. NEVER PUSHED ON THEM AS THEY WERE GETTING MORE IN THERE TEENS THEY JUST ADDED MY LOVE OF MUSIC TO WHAT THEY ALSO WERE LISTENING TOO. GREAT
IS GREATER AND LOVE MAKES LIFE SO MUCH BETTER.. THE JOURNEY HAS BEEN ALWAYS TO LOOK BEHIND YOU AND FORWARD. 🦋🦋💙
I was a teenager, just starting to drive. What freedom! ♥️Not a bad song on this album.
This album was a turning point in modern music.
Enjoying these songs!
My first album ever! I used to play it non-stop on a console stereo which was the size of a Long dresser. One thing I love about Boston as you could recognize their guitars anywhere.❤
You never forget your first 😃
Been enjoying the songs on this album.
Still amazes me that this was recorded in Tom scholz’s basement!! Top 5 debut albums ever! Imo…
Guitar spaceship. Too cool. :))
I remember the very first time I heard this song. It had just been released, 1976. I was 11. Each night I loved listening to my favorite rock station (WROQ in Charlotte) for about 30-45 minutes before I went to sleep, pitch dark, my headphones on. When I heard this song that night, I was absolutely mesmerized. When it was finished, it was the very first time I had ever thought, “I HAVE to get this album”. The next morning, I got my mom to take me to the local record store. It was the first album I had ever bought with my own money, lol. Wonderful memories of hearing this rock masterpiece for the first time. Thanks for posting.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this song and album! Thats amazing!
This album, and specifically More Than A Feeling, was a musical turning point for 11 year old Dave...the sound of the guitar on this album hooked me, no more bubble gum Top 40 crap, it was time to rock! Also, ELO's "Do Ya" was right there too...great song and great band you'd almost certainly enjoy. Good stuff as always, thank you!
I agree. This era and style of music changed everything
Great stuff!
Thanks for the recommendation!
I was a teenager living in Boston when this was released. We lost our minds, of course. 😂
I miss those days, but thank god the music remains for us to keep listening to and for younger generations to discover. Love that you're reacting to this music!
Must have been amazing times!
Enjoying this journey!
Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day.

FYI: If you didn’t know, Singer Brad Delp sang 100% of all vocals on the studio albums that he recorded with Boston. That’s all lead, all backing, and all harmony vocals.
Thanks for pointing that out. I did not know that.
Great album!!!
Great band!!!❤
💯
This is a TOTAL masterpiece even by today’s “standards”. This was recorded back when you actually had to have talent to be successful.
Have you reacted to the band Kansas? Carry On Wayward Son & Dust in the Wind are prog rock from the 70's.
Not yet! I will though, but maybe when i get back from holiday.
I know Dust in the Wind. Or at least the picking pattern on guitar. I once learned it a long time ago.
@@SaeedReacts. Enjoy your holiday
@@SaeedReacts. Dust in the Wind is literally a picking exercise the guitarist did that they turned into a song.
A long-time staple in my playlist for years. Great show live as well, saw them several years ago. I was 15 years old when this album came out. 70s music is just the best decade for music.
Really enjoying this music a lot!
The "space ship" is an upside down bass guitar
Awesome!
❤
❤️
The spaceships on the album cover are guitars, can you see it?
😯
Listen to the song Rock and Roll Band from this same album. No deep meanings there. It's just an autobiographical story about the band. Oh, and it's a banger!
Will add it to my list. Thanks.
Now you need some Kansas! Only musicians on par with Boston. Instruments and vocals both. No one else compares to these two imo. And yeah, seems like there are no more musicians in most music genres anymore. Really sad.
Ps if that's Heisenberg on your t-shirt, way to go 👍
Definitely checking out Kansas as well.
Yes, that is a Heisenberg shirt 😃
@@SaeedReacts.I love Walt/him no matter what anyone says 😄 And get ready for a symphony with Kansas. Fr ♥
