The soundtrack was amazing. The anime of 2016-17 sucked but the 2D animation that was present was okay though it was too little and too far apart to redeem all of the atrocities in the show. Who the fuck blends 2 arcs together!?!?

@@fuckk-popandtiktok3388 I feel that as long as the artwork represents what Miura tried to convey in his paper work it'll be a masterwork. Trying to animate Miuras work even remotely similar is a money bleed. The detail is just too much to replicate frame by frame, it's a budget sink

Susumu is a genius, he gave life to berserk through his music.
One thing I adore about this theme is how it really sells the Berserker armour as a dangerous force. It's not a particularly heroic theme, but it's one that tells you this is a game-changer for Guts and his party, for both good and bad.

Can we just appreciate the attention to detail and the hidden symbolism in this goddamn masterpiece of a manga.The image literally conveys the message that Guts is being devoured by his rage and goes actually berserk(no pun).Until he controls it and is literally no longer blinded by the rage of the armor

I love the series too but it's not really a secret that he goes berserk in the "Berserker" armour until he managed to eventually control the beast of darkness within.
I mean it’s pretty obvious, anyone can pick that detail up as I did in 6th grade, but I appreciate your love for the series, nonetheless it’s a masterpiece of a manga.

If anyone was curious, the panel used is from the sea beast (makara) chapter in volume 28 of berserk
ash crow is such a perfect song to portray the berserker armor taking over guts - as his rage and hatred completely consumed his soul and he slaughters anything in his way. This song is so fitting for that idea.

@@gravitationalforce3258 I'm pretty sure the newer animes were meant to be in a combination of 2D & 3D but some bad blood and hatred during production between the staff led to the weak animation we got. We're lucky to have even gotten that from what I've read. We'll see what happens in the next attempt.
