Why does Need For Speed franchise always have to be set in a fictional western american locale. Can't they change it up a bit and set it in Tokyo, Japan or something else. A Need For Speed in a different country is going to be cool and is one of the major change I think the franchise needs in order to be fresher.

James Mc dude. I did an extensive research paper on EA in the aftermath of that, and also read the direct quotes from the Heat press release. EA has seriously learned from BFII. The guy at the Heat panel was directly asked by a skeptical audience member how they were gonna make the game profitable after launch. He said they’d be making/releasing additional Car Packs as DLC (which you cant fault them for because Forza’s been doing the same thing for years), and then a TimeSaver’s pack later on, a-la Burnout Paradise. “And that’s it,” the guy said. And you know what? I believe him.
