Playing this in 2020, the CGI really has not aged well, but it still is pretty solid.

+FPSkillerPC sorry but post processing is downgraded (lens flares) and i think gamma is changed to brighter and colors are not the same but everything else is same except minimap and interface (after race and tuning sliders)

I love how people are coming back to this game, finally appreciating its strengths and details that made it a decent title. Love it or hate it, it had some style under the hood.
If you install Revival mod (I also use clear sky mod) the game is pretty good
I definitely underappreciated this game. I love it more than Payback, but is on par with Heat

Well the cop chases in this game was meant to be realistic and not some buffed up glorious super-police sportscar fantasy like in most wanted and hot pursuit.

Since racing video games have shifted their camera angles to look to where the driver would look and/or where you're going (ie around the corners, rather than towards the wall), this is another step in that direction. Either way, you can turn it off, so either way it's all good. I might try it myself, though.

Do you really think so? I think that in the case that somebody finds any gfx bugs they will fix it with a massive update for all fx files, maybe the lights are slightly more realistic than they look on ps4 and xone....but I mean...I play on PC, so :D

Dinosbacsi I doubt the cars feel "auto-drifty and stupid". I reckon it will feel like NFS Rivals, where cars feel grippy but can slide out easily if you accelerate whilst cornering too hard. Ghost Games made Rivals and they are working on this but they are more involved and there is less of Criterion.

because this game was always night so they could make the game engine work for dark lighting but since nfs heat and payback have dynamic lighting they dont look as good

The chase camera is a bit too dramatic, soften some of its tilt during cornering and it should be okay to play with. Like the chase camera for NFS Rivals and Run was good that the player felt the weight of the vehicle at the same time was fully engaged with atmosphere. And majority of atmosphere is not about lighting or graphics, its about the sound.
...but so far, my hopes are high with this one.
That isn't the chase cam. It's the action can.

Aaron Douglas Consoles don't run games at a constant 30. 30FPS is the peak FPS that consoles get. Hell, The Witcher 3 runs at 21 FPS on the PS4.

I like how when you put the rocket bunny kit it locks the spoiler, diffuser and so on but in the final game you can change them as they don't affect the actual kit letting you mix and match parts. I love this game

It still amazes how gorgeous looking the graphics and art style were in 2015. Payback felt really dull and Heat couldn't match with the Miami vibe. I think that, if we ever get a ProStreet 2, the 2015 style should be carried over (with a great physics rework obviously)

After playing this for a while, I think it needs a replay feature after a race, especially with graphics that good. Or at least director's mode or video editor mode. That would be epic.

Looks like most wanted 2005 with all the U2 customization on steroids. If they get the camera right and the physics engine fixed from the last couple of games we may have a winner again. 2005 was the last one I really enjoyed.
