I found a vintage UMCO 1000A aluminum tacklebox full of tackle at a flea market. Let's take a look and see what old fishing lures and other goodies are inside.

Tackle boxes seem to go fairly cheap at auction. I often throw half the tackle away because it's rusty. This has been a good way to equip a box with basic tackle to get kids started in fushing.

Great idea. I buy lots of cheap rods and reels to give away. I'll have to start filling some tackle boxes to go with them.
