She sang most of the lines in Mandarin/Chinese (I know Mandarin is just one of the languages of Chinese. But not sure if that really was Mandarin. One thing is sure, that is Chinese's language.) Yes, Filipinos are good in translating English songs to Tagalog and still able to fit them within the same bar, melody, without compromising the meaning of the song. 😁😆

I can relate to that. When translating to other languages specially in a song and a poem It's not necessary to translate into exact or direct translation. They often look for other words or phrases to make them rhyme.
Lyrics are written specifically for a particular music and language. When translated into another language, most of the time, it is made to rhyme. The exact meaning, essence or beauty of the song is kinda lost in translation.
Yes, ay you said, a word in one language very likely will have different number of syllables and intonation, and so it translating a song from one language to another requires the translator be expert in using various words or phrases to fit in the measures/bars of the song.
