Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

The way he frowns at the bendy straw gets me everytime.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You should have included the part where Monk tells Natalie to offer to marry the mechanic if it'll make him fix their car sooner.
Yooo yoooo😂.. I can't stop smiling
I love the fact that the sheriff in this episode was Marv in “Home Alone.”😂😂😂
Exactly.
Randy Quade ...Dennis's brother
@@aprilcraddock169 No. Daniel Stern.
Ohh yeah! He sounds different though
@@lecturesfromleeds614The voice he uses for Marv is part of his character as 'the doof'. Also similar in "Rookie of the Year", as the lovable doof
1:50 the body starts breathing...its alive
Nice catch. I definitely miss her breathing
Nice catch I thought they used a rubber doll or something
I liked it because it is different and quirky even for Monk.
Natalie: For the love of God Mr. Monk just show them your bellybutton
Monk: NEVER
LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Monk for the "Never!" When Marv is right next to you 😅
Lol "OH God Please send some people " Internet people come to save Monk" "Not those type of people" "Oh come one Monk, just 1 little peek" "You cant stay in the bathroom forever" "Yes I can" "You don't think I have a belly button?"
Maybe Monk can help the Sheriff solve his most difficult case by catching the homicidal kid, who fabricated numerous DIY booby traps on Christmas eve in an effort to kill him and his partner.
The one where everyone thought monk was an alien
It is great and most likely a jab the Tony’s appearance in men and black series.
Is nobody gonna mention the bombastic side from monk when Natalie bent the straw
Twist: Nearly everyone in town has extraterrestrial buddies with them.
5:20 NEVER !!!!
Jesse Heiman (frequently referred to as "The World's Greatest Extra") appearance in this episode was A+
Who is that ?
@@Josh.WDW. He appears at roughly 0:39 in this clip. As per Wikipedia - "Various media outlets have dubbed [Heiman] one of the most, if not the most recognisable extras in film history."
@@nnr997 Is that the guy from the Bar Rafaeli SuperBowl beer commercial ?
That sheriff comes in home alone with the little boy named Kevin
I love this episode!
Love any monk episode 💜🇬🇧
He would rather die than show them his bellybutton!! God, I love Monk.
8:37 🤣🤣
He needs it to be straight to drink water or he will never drink 😅
"Internet people" :D
This Sleep Inn product placement in this episode was a little too blatant.
well, the truth is really out there
The title is misleading
Love me some Monk ❤
I never seen this one before
Haarrrryyyyyyy 😅
I don't think I have ever seen this episode.
"The internet people will believe anything"
…why didn’t he just report his sister as missing?
In the context of the story, they weren’t close
So he would have had no real reason to be checking in on her and then telling the police she was missing
And as he would be a prime suspect, he wanted to stay off the radar as much as possible
Also, even if he reported her mission, the police would have no idea to search out there
She could have just gone for a trip. He’s have to somehow fake her house/apartment to indicate she went hiking, and in a specific location
Honestly this type of situation has been used before back in season 1
Except in that case, the killers victim, his wife, got buried in her car in a mudslide
So he needed to have her body found she he drugged a physic to have her find the body.
@@stevesmith1383 He coulda just waited seven years until she was declared legally dead. Much safer than building a goddamn UFO...
@@ArmageddonD11 he needed the money now. His business was going under; was probably on the verge of bankruptcy.
Been a while since I watched the full episode
The only thing off about his plan was the UFO which wasn’t even originally part of his plan.
Killing family to get their inheritance is pretty standard motive for killing
And his plan to fake a hiking accident made sense
His bad luck there were coyotes and Monk happened to be there
Plus the other mistakes he made.
@@ArmageddonD11greedy people don’t wait
@@LaineMann then report her as missing! lie and say you went over to reconcile or something… quicker and easier than orchestrating a goddamn UFO sighting!
My least favorite monk episode
How come?
Why? I'd say Monk on Wheels is the worst one. He is way too mean in that one.
@@AroAceGamer My least favourite episode as well, and a huge reason why I prefer Sharona over Natalie.
Mine is the bully episode. Always skip past that episode.
I don’t particularly like the episode where he went to look for Stottlemeyer’s son at a concert … also there is a 2 part episode(s) in one of the last seasons … he was on the run… never rewatched those …
Now Monk with the leper!!! Classic!
Natalie is sooo cute!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Well.. I dunno.. i didn't find this one to be good..
