I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Terran so consistently outzerg a Zerg player. Like, the constant multipronged attacks that Zerg are known for, but done with microable Terran units. How the heck can someone seemingly micro in two places at once?

After watching clem play terran so much. It is true, you have to take away his micro. Tax his APM or get rofl stomped. The man is just too good.

Genuine question @ 14 why put yourself @ 15/14. Been watching StarCraft 2 content and across the board I see this 🤔

It costs a little bit of minerals (the extractor costs 25, you only get 19 back when you cancel) but it lets you get an extra drone out a lot earlier than you otherwise would. Because of how economy scales in SC2, a drone built earlier is worth a lot more than one built later because it generates more total resources and starts generating resources earlier which can be spent on e.g. more drones/hatcheries to get even more money. The specific opening that's popular right now is based on getting a really fast hatchery and spawning pool, meaning you can have queens out early and actually defend early pressure like the first reaper without needing to make zerglings (which means more drones instead). The early hatch and queens also mean you have more larva to work with overall. The downside is that it overall doesn't give quite as good an economy if you want to go for a fast 3 base set up as just getting the overlord on 13 and doing a normal hatch first on 16, but if you want to play 2 base initially and delay the third it's really strong, as well as shutting down a lot of early rushes
