question: i have an air leak at the breech where the pellet probe pushes the pellet inside the barrel. so i changed the little 5.5mm x 1.5mm o-ring, but i used a buna 90 instead of the buna 70. and it still leaks. would you single load a couple of shots and see if you have any blow by passing at the beginning of your breech. it would help me out a bunch to know if that's normal. thanks
hi air gunners' edge, i used 3 washers to see if it would increase my feet per second and it was a no-go. not one bit. I really don't understand what's going on. It want go any faster than 670fps. i have never seen anything like it before. if you have any info i would surely be all ears thanks
Hello. In my brand new FX Dreamline Classic cal .22 and 30 ft/lbs the hammer spring is free moving when the rifle is uncocked - I don't know if is it good or not. It is annoying because when I take the rifle and shake it a little bit then I hear that hammer spring is moving. It looks like the hammer spring would be too short? What do you think about that? Is it normal and this is FX standard or it should be adjusted?
What FPS is it shooting with what grain pellet, that were I would start...Dont think mine did that but not sure, chrony is a must for making adjustments...
@@airgunnersedge4061 My retailer said me that it is normal and every FX Dreamline has this and it it a free floating hammer system which allow to reduce a waste of air. My FX Dreamline: JSB Excact Jumbo Diabolo .22 15.89 grain, from 230 bar down to 125 bar 45 shots, Vav=892 fps, dV=32 fps. Tell me if you remember... in your new FX Dreamline out from the box the hammer spring was free moving when rifle was uncocked?
That very well maybe the case, my Hatsan rifles have a anti knock or double knock system to prevent wasted air...I was getting the same as you for power and shot count even when adjusting the hammer for 900fps, but still dont remember anything moving inside wich I would have picked up on Immediately....
@@airgunnersedge4061 OK Rich. I will send you later a short video showing what I am meaning with this moving hammer spring. Rich you have a wide experience with FX so tell me after hammer spring adjustment you secure nut against unscrewing? Do you use any special thread glue? Is it possible that the nut without glue can unscrew during shooting?
Yes in fact they have issues with this backing out , I am still testing so I have not used the removeable blue loctite yet until I find where I need it to be... At the moment I am using a little dope tape just to make sure it stay in place while testing...
I have never heard of your type of measurement, can u do again in mm or somthing
Intristing very good information , great videos like allways ! !
