A great character, and him & Vulcan in one wave mean we're 50% done with the Deadly Genesis team too! He could have come with way more accessories and alternate body parts though, but this is my ideal costume for Darwin too. Now we need to get the rest of the X-Factor Investigation team out there! (By 'rest' I of course just mean Monet!)
I’m hyped for this figure! Just finished re-reading X-Men: Deadly Genesis with my son. Wish Darwin had crazier pieces highlighting his powers. But maybe we’ll finally get an accessory pack someday to help with that. Thanks for the review, Dan!
And, yeah. I can see alien Burns in this sculpt.
That Bonebreaker BAF does look so good! If Toysrama get him in, I may go for it, but a very nice BAF, I think it would be great if Darwin came with some power effects to display his abilities around the figure
Here is what I notice from the 3 Summers brothers, 1. Cyclops is a team leader of the X-MEN, 2. Havok is the leader of X-FACTOR, and 3. Vulcan is the leader of X-MEN Deadly Genises, Even though I don't have figures from the wave, I will only get Wolverine, first appearance Sabretooth and classic 1980s Havok, Thank you for the video Dan.
they should of gave him some extra hands showing his abilities or put him on the mr fantastic body and give him interchangeable arms
I have been waiting to see what customizers do with this figure to give him some power effects.

I'm actually most excited for him and Maggot in this wave. Darwin looks great!
I don't absolutely hate this body mold but it would be cool if they could make this mold pinless
$25 for such a lackluster figure is an insult. I'm pretty much spending the money just for the Bonebreaker piece.
I thought his death in First Class was quite fitting given it's the Hellfire Club.
Someone who has abilities to adapt to multiple types of environment in any multiple situations should have multiple interchangeable parts. Again, this is like Siryn without the screaming alternate head. Good review though!
And Sabertooth, who should have had fists and an alternate head.
I hope they use this body for GenX Skin (with those finger hands and Reed’s stretched finger hands!). They should have used it for Speedball. 🙄
Otherwise, a pretty basic figure, not much else they could have screwed up, I guess? I did think he was portrayed a bit more “ashen” in Deadly Genesis, tho? And wasn’t he seeing Anole or something in pre-Krakoa stories?
BAF: Seeing how there’s basically three main pieces to Bonebreaker (2pc tank, torso), why are some figures coming with random kibble barrels and not extra other pieces? Throw in an X-Baby or something instead of a random barrel.
Funny how a couple years back the same exact body mold was 20 bucks completely ridiculous they couldn’t at least give us a newer buck for the price
Funny how in the movie adaption he chose to adapt to any situation but ended up being a black guy in the 60s

Mine finally arrived today. I love this character and I love this figure. BUT Hasbro has to get away from these gummy legs. They feel so cheap and it's such an awesome figure/sculpt.

I was never too keen on the Pizza Spidey buck. The torso looked too long and the hips are limited in sideways movement. Spidey needs to be able to do the splits.😁
For characters like Darwin it works well. Same for Leader and Mr Fantastic who use the arms and legs.
The head sculpts os cool and having different han options is always good. Glad they didn't do what they usually do and give him C-grip hands with nowt to hold.
