What i love about your channel is that it shows that build creation is not settled on a singular meta. There are still good builds yet to be discovered/created.
Those words mean a lot to me cuz that's the message I've been looking to convey all along! I'm just happy to see that it's resonating with other players too! 😊
Over ten years ago i made a Me/E build with fevered dreams, mark of rodgort and fragility, the key was to use a fire damage weapon, but only have 4 or less attributes in fire magic. This way you only procced 1 second of burning from mark of rodgort, for bigger fragility damage and more dazes from fevered dreams. Maybe something you want to look into, not sure if it still works, was a long time ago @@KrythsGWStuffj
That's true! But having to sacrifice two skill slots (and your secondary along with a bunch of attribute pts) requires the rest of the skillbar to be managed more carefully in general. I don't think it'd be fair to say that d.stab + s.quickness can be slapped on to anything (which doesn't require another stance) to buff it up, though admittedly it's a pretty powerful buff-up ngl!
Very cool build, once gain. Always a pleasure to see your creations! I have just recently made an Ele and I have been wondering if it would be a possible to make a 7hero- elements team, similar to the 7 Hero Offensive Mesmerway.
Thank you man, I appreciate your kind words! 8 person ele team should be not only possible but also be very fun, except you'd need mercs and I dun have em yet. I'll see what I can do though!
I have been using 3 e/mo heros with master of magic, incendiary bond for short duration burning and overcast, teinai's wind for interrupts, swirling aura for team regen and missle defense, and protective aegis. I have been running them each with a different ward spell. You could do whatever else you want. But I use a fevered dreams and fragility mesmer. Also using a mesmer hero with virulance with 0 in death magic. It's a lot of damage to group's because of the 3 second burning duration since fragility triggers when conditions are applied and when they end. The Eles trigger damage more than they do damage, and the 3 of them can prettymuch keep swirling aura and protective aegis on the whole team.
I've also been trying to use the 3 Ele heros with mist form to support a minion master, but haven't quite figured out how to make it work as well as I'd hoped. Have you ever experimented with mist form? I am currently in a dual role damage/damage mitigation phase in build making lately.
That sounds like a really good team composition with a lotta synergy 👍🏻 I wanna make a team composition based on this build too. Two of these guys, 1 para, 1 mes/nec and some others I am yet to think about. Burning doesn't require enemies to be fleshy so it's pretty effective!
I see. I haven't played around with Mist Form yet unfortunately no. But I should definitely get around to experimenting with it as I think it's a very good elite skill. 👍 I do remember seing a build on PvX for it though.. Let me check..
@@KrythsGWStuff oh yeah, Para is a really good call I hadn't thought of for damage mitigation from burning foes. Also forgot to mention to use prismatic insignias for +20 armor with MoM and enchanting staffs for aura and aegis.
@@KrythsGWStuff I'm still relatively new to GW1 so I really appreciate your builds. I usually modify them to my taste but I like using them as a starting point. It's interesting to see how experienced player makes viable builds from elites that I previously didn't give any attention to.
Yea man, eles slower casting times and armor respecting damage types sometimes motivate players to choose other classes but I think if you use a BU with this in HardMode it'll be worthwhile. I'm curious to see how it'd do in a scenario like that. I also intend to make a team build with this build in it and see how I can make it synergize with They're on Fire and Fragility n all :) thank you for your kind words! 🙂🙏🏻
Thats funny. Been thinking about SF since I started playing my para again. „They’re on fire“ and „blazing finale“ could harmonise pretty well. Have u tried this in an 8men comp for HM pve stuff?
@@KrythsGWStuff nice! I’m Kinda worried about the dmg output in hm so maybe like 2 mes, 3 sf or something like that might end up working best. Also I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting lots of skills that could synergies well! Already looking forward! Take care !
I don't get your thinking here. When enchantments are safe, I find that Elemental Lord, Fire Attunement, and Glowing Gaze are usually enough to fund Searing Flames. Glyph of Lesser Energy will also quickly refill energy with 2 consecutive free Searings, Since Searing Flames already recharges in 2s, no need to decrease and can be paired with Lave Arrows for constant casting. That leaves 2 free slots for another line or more Fire Magic (e.g. Rodgort's Invocation, Teinai's Wind, Weaken Armor, Necrosis). BTW... I like degen in PvE.
Hello, Tarheel, Without Serpent’s Quickness, you can typically cast one Searing Flames every 3 seconds-this accounts for its 2-second recharge, 1-second cast time, (not counting the aftercast delay). Since Searing Flames relies on its own effects (Burning) to deal damage, being able to cast it every 2 seconds instead of 3 significantly boosts its impact. This allows you to maintain much higher pressure through both Burning and raw Fire damage within the "nearby" AoE radius, eliminating the need for slower-casting or projectile-based Fire spells that can disrupt the flow of combat. Additionally, without a SF on reduced cooldown, teams often have to rely on 2 or even 3 Searing Flames Elementalists to sustain both Burning and damage output. With this setup, even just 2 Elementalists can wreak havoc, freeing up an extra party slot for another team member. That, I believe, is a valuable advantage!
@@KrythsGWStuff I'd much rather have 2-3 extra slots than invest the 2 (including a PvE skill) to decrease the recharge of a 2s Searing Flames. Weaken Armor not only increases my damage but also my team's damage. At 12 Fire that's 6s of burning. I'm currently farming truffles with Sousuke running a similar Searing Flames build. He's at 14 Fire, so 7s of burning. On a heavy condition team, I will usually have a Mesmer with Extend Conditions. Anyway, with two 2s recharge skills, I'm never waiting for something to cast. Just preferences. Your stance and enchantment tactic seems too complicated for any advantage, while my setup is mostly fire, forget, and spam tailored stuff at recharge. Frankly, there aren't that many enchantment safe areas in my view. I do use this around Istan and in Melandru's Hope (as noted earlier).
@@KrythsGWStuff For my mains, I like a mostly self-sufficient build that also synergizes with a tailored party. Actually, I start with determining what enemy skills I will face, create an all hero team, and lastly create my own build. Also, Elemental Lord buffs all Elementalist lines, returns energy, and is a self-heal. Teinai's Wind is great. Consider something like: Elemental Lord Fire Attunement Shell Shock (spike, cracked armor) Searing Flames Glowing Gaze Shock Arrow Teinai's Wind Lava Arrows

Dwarven Stability + Serpent's Quickness works pretty much with anything that doesn't require another stance.

In keeping with the dual role idea, you could run something like this instead of fevered dreams. OQNDAcwzQCVTAXEZA5ZIgdRkA

I guess we have to agree to disagree then, as we seem to approach the game from two different perspectives :)
