The purpose of this song is to use these words to communicate the process of becoming alive in Christ...dead to self and now fully alive in Christ Jesus. This song remimds me of my own experience from being transferred from the darkness and into the Light! God is Love, God is Light. This song helps my heart remember that grace that saved me and washed me clean and made me new. It also helps me reiterate my reckless abandonment to God...surrendering myself and my life to Him! Listening to this in Oct 2021. Husband is in the hospital with Covid Pneumonia and hes been struggling to wake up from sedation but last night we had a break through. He’s waking up!
For some reason they just stopped making music and it makes me so sad because they were the first Christian band that I listened to when I first got saved. Their music always encouraged me to press in. And it wasnt just how good they sang, but it was their passion for Christ.
She really does. She sat at my lunch table at a worship conference I attended in Orlando in September. She played with Gungor that night and One Sonic Society the next day. She seems to get a lot of studio and concert work with Christian bands.
My friend, that mindset is when they have heard the GOSPEL! If they choose to not believe after hearing the gospel, then it is their own responsibility. But like what Jay had said, we have that responsibility to spread the gospel to those who have not heard!!! Be careful that self righteousness and pride does not come into play when you are telling others about the gospel! Jesus Christ came to save EVERYONE, not just a group!
