- Class-A surface to B-surface creation is most challenging part in CAD design.
Class-A, B-surface and C-surface or Boundary surface, together creates a closed volume and then solid body.
To create a solid body, Thick surface feature also used.
But, it will not help surfaces, with complex shapes and large curvature.
Here is a comparison between Offset surface and Thick surface operation.
And also some info regarding offset surface operation.
How offset surface works?
Reasons why offset fails?

BRAVO!!! What a performance.Nice work.
You are a champ, thanks a lot for valuable information.
If you want to build something quickly here are a few options. Start with extracting the large slabs and untrimming them. Catia will happily make a thickness where the surfaces happens to be G0.
You can then sew designfillets back on and make the inside with a normal fillet or something in that nature.
Next option is to build the entire B-surface, surface by surface which is going to take forever if you actually have something which is a bit more complex than this bumper, this bumper fails due to poor styling end. You can also measure the radii of the surface in Catia with the tools within GSD.
Bro nice explanation, thanks for vedio.pls update more vedio bro
CAN YOU UPLOAD VIDEO ON IF PARTING LINE ON FILLET
hi i had one question i am using single surfaces for B offset so after all offset i find that i have done offset s of all surfaces in n wrong direction then how to change the direction in one go for all surfaces
Why u draw lines normal to surface ?
Offset command works in that way
It ll create an imaginary CG point of surface, then create line perpendicular to that surface with CG point as center
Okk
Bro can u share the igs file?
