      The slurry wall and dirt taken was put into the Hudson to give other buildings life like the Wfc while the twins were very disliked when they opened the made a huge impact during their short runs and are very missed these days.

    It just doesn't make sense... I can accept as a "differing/new design" compared to past tall buildings, there may have been some unknowns in the extreme outcomes expected... but, to dismantle this whole structure in minimal time, seems near on impossible? What happened to basic physics on that day, that said "...there is a shit-load of mass/structure below... you will have to wait your time in falling to the ground as all this effort is pushing back up against you rouge floors above!"... ?

    • @johnm5230
      @johnm5230 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Exactly. The laws of physics are NOT theory. They are what they are and the symmetrical free-fall collapse of three buildings, as on 9/11, is literally an impossibility. Period. The "whodunnit" is where conspiracy theory comes in to play but as for the physics aspect, only a fool would dispute Newton's immutable laws. One-one-thousand, two-one-thousand....in the time it took to say those two phrases is how much longer it took for the top of those towers to reach the ground than it would a brick dropped from the same height with nothing but air to impede it's descent to the ground.

    • @Sildenafil_Damages_Eye_Retina
      @Sildenafil_Damages_Eye_Retina 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Why have the pyramids lasted for 4,500 years?
      They are a solid mass of granite blocks stacked on top of each other...they are not HOLLOW like modern buildings.
      The towers were 95% air by volume.
      Only 5% was structural steel and concrete !!
      ''...there is a shit-load of mass/structure below... ''
      ...And in between all those steel beams and columns is a $hiT load of air space, where falling rubble can accelerate and continue its momentum.
      The steel structure is only designed for dead and live loads.
      It is NOT designed for kinetic energy.
      In physics, the kinetic energy (KE) of an object is the energy that it possesses due to its motion.
      It is defined as the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity.
      Having gained this energy during its acceleration, the body maintains this kinetic energy unless its speed changes.
      The same amount of work is done by the body when decelerating from its current speed to a state of rest.
      The standard unit of kinetic energy is the joule, while the imperial unit of kinetic energy is the foot-pound.
      he kinetic energy is equal to 1/2 the product of the mass and the square of the speed.
      Since the kinetic energy increases with the square of the speed, an object doubling its speed has four times as much kinetic energy.
      For example, a car traveling twice as fast as another requires four times as much distance to stop, assuming a constant braking force.
      As a consequence of this quadrupling, it takes four times the work to double the speed.

      @@johnm5230
      The TT's did not collapse symmetrically.... and only the outer shells of all three towers had a moment of free fall.
      All three buildings collapsed a lot slower than free fall.
      An object has reflectional symmetry (line or mirror symmetry) if there is a line (or in 3D a plane) going through it which divides it into two pieces that are mirror images of each other.

There was barely anything left, just rubble and pieces of the perimeter columns, which there should have been a lot more of by the way. @Bartholomew Beauregard III Not even by them. Good ol' Controlled Demolition Inc. was responsible for the planting of the explosives. All the elevator modernization "renovations" gave them direct access to the core columns so any cover story like that would have given them ample opportunity to place the bombs prior to 9/11 without office workers noticing. Most of the elements inside the Towers disintegrated.
