I bought a second hand ns 200 2012 model in 2017(30k kms) and had to change clutch plates but now at 98k kms, I still haven't changed the clutch plates.
how is your ns working ?
it has started to show age no doubt. there are broken bearings in engine, so rattling noises now and then. since I do not push it hard and drive at normal speeds and sometimes 80+ while on long trips, I face no issues. mileage is still above 35 in city. Overall still good considering I have it for 6+ years(used) haha@@RI-Boruto

It's very easy. For upshift release accelerator and quickly shift up. For downshift give sudden jerk to accelerator and shift down.

My Father's TVS Centra 2004 aged 19 years. Clutch,engine everything perfect. Only changed front n rear tire , Chains and rear suspension.

mai ek baar classic 350 ka service karane gya tha... .ek banda ka same 350 sirf 13km me clutch plate khatam ho gya....
company ke manufacturing fault ke bajah se purah clutch assembly dalna para... warranty nhi mila🤐🤐🤐

RPM ke upar bhi depend karta hai kya?
Matlab high RPM par ho gaadi aur 3rd se 4th par le toh quickly shift kar ke quickly clutch chhoda toh is it okay or else I'm doing wrong
I think you missed another point that sudden downshifting at higher speeds for which the gear isn't designed to move may also damage or overheat the clutch since it's not designed to move at those speeds. I'm not sure if this point is true for slipper clutch.
Mere byk TVS starcity+ me chalate time jhatke lag rahe hai.... Maine tank wash, carborater wash, air filter wash v karaaya... Bt jhatke lagna band nehi huwa... Jb engine start karta hu toh jada jhatke lagte hai bt 5-6 km chalene pr km ho jate hai pr band nehi hote...?

Hi bhaiya maine FI wla version liya hai ns 125 ka problem-: 1. Agar aap gaadi chala kar neutral dete ho aur kuch baad start karonge matalab 1st gear de kar gaadi start nahi honga chakka aage piche karne ke baad 1st gear lagega , 2. Naye wale mai AFE mileage kitna de raha hai yeh bataynge pehle mera 30 dikha rhn tha aur do din baad 29 dikha raha hai, 3. Morning mai 1st start mai se kick se karta hu bike start but bhai 3 kick ke baad bike start hota hai engine. Ek sapta hua lete hue hai kya karu bhai. plz response.

I use to do all the things you mentioned not to do to save clutch plate in my RX135, like instant clutch release in 1st gear to pop wheelie , up and down shifting gears without clutch while on call with anyone,trying to move bike in 2nd or 3rd gear halfclutched because i was too lazy to shift to 1st gear to move it and also thinking 1st gear consumes more fuel than other,and also when i see a down road i had habit of holding clutch in top gear and turn ignition off without taking risk to put it to neutral and mess up the current speed to save petrol.
My bike had no free play in clutch everytime it got free i used to tighten it a bit and also i kept my idling very low so that when ever i grab clutch bike should turn off automatically without touching key to turn off.But still my clutch plates were so reliable for 2 or more years.

I never stand my bike on gear even if its in traffic. No half clutch riding too. N m using synthetic oil as well. There is enought free play in my clutch bt i had to change my clutch plate after riding 12k km. I am nt making mistakes u mention as well. Dnt my what the prob i hav in my bike

@srmotoworld My meteor 350 fireball gave upto 60km/h in 3rd gear smoothly, but suddenly after 1 month it stick to 40km/h. Any reason?
Broo I'll correct you in last point you mentioned about clutch gap .....that gap will be enough to disengage the power from engine to gear ...so giving throttling is not a problem but when you suddenly release the clutch it will go and mesh with rotating flywheel that can cause damage ..
