Hi. I've been watching lots of your videos for my next Disney trip (happened a month ago). I went their and found lots of things in Pandora about "beastly kingdom" Disney forgot to remove. Unfortunately I could only get one picture of one thing 🙄, but maybe you could find more. All I'm saying is that I would like to see a video of "beastly kingdom". I'm missing animal kingdom in your videos, this might be something to talk about. You don't have to make a video of you cant/don't want to. Sorry for the paragraph and sudden notice. Maybe I could give you pictures threw google drive? Bye.
It might just be the nostalgia talking, but Disney in the nineties was the best (minus the birthday cake Castle) crowd levels not nearly as bad as today, new and exciting attractions were opening, a brand new theme park was coming soon, etc...
I loved that castle cake. I mean I was 5 sooooo giant pink castle was kinda awesome. NOW though? I’m like-never EVER do they again, Disney.......I DID get a cool 25th anniversary pin that year though! I still have it too! And I TOTALLY remember this parade! Gooooood times
@@Disneynut1958 the problem was that people back then only came once a lifetime, or if repeat guests, every couple of years. This means that the only time they got to see the castle, it was a giant pink cake. This also means that if you got married there, or on your honeymoon, that cake was in all of your pictures. This is why they can’t have seasonal rise overlays, like Disneyland does. But I remember liking the cake as a kid. I just know my mom didn’t.
My family would go when I was out of school. Spring break, summer, Christmas, New Years... ...now that would be unthinkable! Off peak season now is what peak season back then was like, and yes, that’s with all four parks open. We pull our kid out of school for our trips, and end up,finding other families from the same school who have done the very same!

Remember The Magic was there the first time I visited Disney as a child and I remember the castle float distinctly, and loved it! My parents weren't too amused about the castle decorations as we had travelled from the UK and didn't realise it would be painted up like that, but as kids we were so excited to see a giant birthday cake castle! I didn't get to see the original castle at WDW until I returned in 2011 with my partner who actually proposed to me in the castle restaurant. So, that castle in particular means a lot to me no matter how it's presented! 😍
I have the full soundtrack to the parade - and I listen to it regularly. Back in the 90’s they had “make a CD” booths at downtown with all sorts of hidden gems available. Love the 90’s Disney harmonies.
A fun little note on the Disney Renaissance: if it hadn't been for the DR, we wouldn't have Disney Animation today. The execs were getting ready to pull the plug after the box office bomb of The Black Cauldron. The animation department was given a small budget, they used it to make The Great Mouse Detective which was a pretty big success at the box office. The profits from The Great Mouse Detective were used to produce The Little Mermaid. While Ariel may be credited for starting the Renaissance, I would say it was Basil of Baker Street that saved the animation department. :)
I loved this parade...the song left you humming and singing " it's time to remember the magic" especially waiting in queues for rides..and the royal court is still used to kick off the current parade..will always be one of my favorites.
This was awesome. I'm particularly interested in what's changed within the park, especially when those changes are minor and not obvious. Watching old shows and ride throughs catch me off guard often with how much they've altered over the years that is only obvious when you compare them directly. Love your channel, thank you for continuing to put out unique and fun history videos like this. Cheers!
I was there! I was in the parade doing the plate relay game for the Beauty and the Beast float! I don't remember it TOO well, but I remember having to run plates to the next kid or something? I remember having a blast, but not really the rules themselves XDD I was 6 at the time to be fair, and I'm turning 28 next week.
I first heard that main song "Remember the Magic" on a CD called Music of the Magic Kingdom ( or something like that) and I instantly fell in love with it. If you haven't heard that version, I'd recommend trying to find it.
I´m almost crying here. The only time I've been at Magic Kingdom was in 1997, when this 25th anniversary was still going on. So precious memories. Thank you so much for that.
Dang, as soon as the first bars of the song started playing from the clips it unlocked something that was buried deep in my memory. The first time I went to Disney World was when I was barely five years old. That would have made it late 2000, so this parade was nearing the end. I remember one of the parade stops landed us right by the Lion King float, and my little sister and I were chosen to dance in front of the float. I even got a gourd to shake. That experience, and well, the entire experience of going to Disney World, was one of the greatest experiences of my five year old life.
I only went to Disney World twice in 87 -89 so I never saw this, but I remember it from TV. I never liked the castle either. Im glad I never had to deal with it but also regret not seeing it. I would love to see videos on the Mick Birthday and Donald Duck Birthday TV specials. and the other things done for those big birthdays.
That was the last time I was in Disney World, was when Cinderella castle was decked out like a pink birthday cake. Have not been there since then, brings back many memories watching this!!! Thank you!!!

That's brings back childhood memories - I went and remember being confused by the castle. Still have photos from my visit. I was one of the dancing children.
My first visit to Walt Disney World was during the 25th Anniversary event. I was born in the summer of 94, making me anywhere between 2 and 3 years old when I went, though, so as you can imagine, I don't remember a lick of it other than the knowledge that they turned Cinderella Castle into a cake for the occasion.

I actually saw the Crystal Castle float in use back in March when Steve Harvey stopped by for the Disney Dreamers Academy parade. I have a couple photos as well.
Interestingly, the castle float is one of the few floats that requires two drivers to drive it down the parade route as it's so long, one at the front and one halfway down where the two main sections join together!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with recycling a few things either (as you said, reasonably). I think the remember the magic parade actually still holds up pretty well by the looks of it. If I went to a Disney Park today and saw that parade I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed.
i love disney, so i love tpms videos, but i just wish that the videos were longer. Like i would be completely fine with a video that was like an hour long!

I went on the keys to the kingdom tour yesterday and saw the crystal castle float outside the warehouse they store the floats and the tour guide said that they were refurbishing all the floats outside before their seasonal parades (others were mostly halloween and christmas floats)
Probably a little late to say this you should make a video of all the Stormtroopers falling at Disney that's literally my favorite thing to watch I always laugh
