    This man attempted murder of 5 officers shooting at them and hurting/killing(?) two. This plea deal is total injustice. Think about if this was a minority person. They’d get life with no possibility of parole. It’s sickening.

    I felt that Sheriff's testimony to the core of my soul. When you face undeniable intended evil causing irreparable devastation and learn instead of the law and justice and everything you believed in and lived by on your side, law and justice will step in to serve, but not the people, the people with the higher balanced bank accounts. I know that's a crush to how you view and evaluate everything in your life everyday for a regular citizens. Even worse when you dedicated yourself to enforcing the law then the law takes a sh** on you. Effing aces and confuses you all day every day I'm telling you.

    This guy deserves everything he gets but there is a much larger picture that the entire police force has been using as a fear narrative to get away with anything.
    I swear the police now a days are trained more in how to portray their fear and how they are so afraid to do their jobs, then they are in the constitution and civil rights. This sheriff is now on paid leave for a few years and then early retirement because he has nightmares that someone may have pointed a gun in his direction behind bullet proof glass and an armored Bearcat. He is definitely in the wrong line of work. Cops are afraid of their shadows now a days. The amount if officer involved shootings has been out of control for decades. Now cops just know the trigger words to use to get away with it.

  • @GreenmanRP

    Wooooow, a 3 yr sentence for 5 counts of attempted murder against a police officer, with 600+ days of credit time served, which means he only serves 1 year in prison, but if we're being completely honest here, he won't serve a full year in prison, he'll accumulate "good time" (if he keeps his nose clean and stays out of trouble while in prison) which reduces ones original prison sentence, so in all honesty, he'll probably serve around 9 months in prison....9 months for 5 counts of attempted murder upon a police officer. Was justice really served here today?

    • @murph7489
      @murph7489 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      its not 9 months its 3 years..not gonna take that scumbags side but still 3 years is 3 years, he gets credit for 600 days + because he was locked up...normal people would do 20+ for this but we all know there are two systems of justice...

    • @GreenmanRP
      @GreenmanRP 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@murph7489 Do you understand what “credit time served” means? It’s means those 600+ days that he’s been locked up for will be subtracted from the imposed 3 year sentence, so he’s got about a year and four months left to serve, and in most prisons you accumulate “good time” if you stay on the straight and narrow while incarcerated, which means he’ll probably serve about a year in prison, so my mistake for saying 9 months originally, it’ll more than likely be a year left to serve

    • @murph7489
      @murph7489 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@GreenmanRP yes I fully understand it, because I was in prison myself..I know everything there is to know about time and what they will get and how it will go...good time is different in prison than in county jails..in NY there is a formula..and good time doesn't really mean a whole lot..parole or early release depends on a couple of factors..,.one being the type of crime..violent or non - violent..violent offenses MUST do 75% of their time regardless..then they get out..now, there are things you have to do in order to get early release..there are certain programs you have to complete, staying out of trouble meaning not catching new charges inside is a factor, and of course remorse and acknowledgement of the wrong of your offense or taking responsibility is big with parole boards...in the end this guy is not going to do any significant time and its bs..

    This is the same judge that gave Adam Matos a piece of her mind, I like how professional she lays out the facts. In this particular case, my only complaint is she was too lenient with sentencing especially since the defendant was described as a psychopath but otherwise it was handled very well.

Not one person was killed yet he gets along years. I'm not agreeing with what he did, js...Thanks but no thanks criminal justice system.

    Why was his home being raided, anyways? Did they make it known they were cops, in recent events they haven't.
