    Thank you so so much! I've always been frustrated with these models because I thought they all said the exact same thing using different words! I almost skipped this video because I had basically given up on figuring out any distinction between these FORs. Thinking of EHP as complexity of the context, PEOP as the fit, and MOHO as what's motivating the person intrinsically, I think I might FINALLY understand the difference!
    Thanks Miri, you rock!

    Thank YOU! I'm watching your videos three years later during COVID19 quarantine. I just began pursuing a degree to become a COTA. I appreciate your insight and your way of breaking down things, especially in funny and quirky ways. "MOHOvation" will definitely stick with me.

    Loved this video. I am also having a hard time remembering the other FOR in mental health such as Psychodynamic, Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Cognitive Disability. Do you have a good way to remember these? My test is monday so it may be too late to make a video but would love any suggestions. Thanks!

    • @MiriLee
      @MiriLee  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Jessica! Tomorrow is your big day and I feel bad that I'm now just getting back to your message. I was in the woods all weekend, completely disconnected and unwired- something I haven't done in a long time, but it was much needed. I realize it's too late to answer your question now, but even if I had received your message two days ago, my response would have probably been the same: don't focus on last minute learning/cramming, but allow your mind to rest. You already know so much more than you think you know; and at this point, it will be important for you to apply what you already know using your critical thinking and clinical rationale. Many of us will go into the exam feeling unprepared, but remember that this is an exam that assesses your readiness to be an entry level practitioner. Go in there with peace and apply everything you know with a clear mind and a confident spirit. My thoughts are with you, Jessica!

    I just notice that it appears I got some slack from other viewers regarding a comment I made on one of your videos: I truly apologize to you AND to those who didn't like my comment. I honestly didn't mean to sound negative or ungrateful. I thought I was just reiterating what you stated in the video; that you were in a hurry and didn't have time... I really was just trying to give a heads up for anyone who might not be familiar with your awesome videos, that all the others are fantastic! Again, sorry. And thank you! I am a visual learner, and I got a lot out of them.

      Hi Tammie, I understood your heart and intent when you began your comment with "I love Miri's video." I appreciate your support very much and am happy to have been able to share this journey with you. A part of what gives so much joy and meaning to this community is the interaction we can have with one another, but I also understand how written words can be lost in translation when we are not interacting directly in person. I believe every comment made on this thread, by you and others, was made with the best of intentions and I appreciate all your support, love and dedication to edifying and protecting our community. I strive to maintain a safe and positive space, where we can continue to support and build each other up. So thank you for your continued support and for taking a moment to come back to share the exciting news that you passed!!! CONGRATULATIONS TAMMIE HILLIARD! That's got to be the best news I've heard all day and it made my day! A new chapter has begun and I'm excited for all the ways our profession will enrich your life. This is a big accomplishment and I hope you'll be met with colleagues and supervisors who see your potential and support you to reach your potential. Congratulations again, Tammie. I'm very happy for you.

    I love Miri's video. Usually she gives a good explanation and examples. As she states at the beginning of this video; she does not have time to go through FOR in detail. This video definatley indicates that. This video is rushed and she doesn't give any examples. I will look for the EHP video that she promised.

      This video may not be what you're looking for, but a show of appreciation wouldn't hurt, considering she's doing this completely free of charge just to help other students. You said she was rushed and doesn't give examples, but she mentioned very clearly that it would be a "BRIEF" intro so she delivered and gave exactly what she said she would. Even if she hadn't though, it's surprising and disappointing to see this sort of entitled and inconsiderate comment. She doesn't owe you anything. As you said yourself, she probably doesn't have time to do any of this. But she does, for free. Most prep companies will charge you a fee for any sort of advice or tutoring.
