But the fact that Prelude is what you first hear when you boot up most FF games just cements it in my mind as being the very essence of the franchise. Then there's the fact that the song itself is simple, catchy, and even repetitive, but it'a never bothersome or tiring to listen to. It really speaks to Uematsu's musical talent. Not to mention how versatile it is with how many remixes and reimaginations it has had (When i first booted up FF16 it took me a second to actually pick out Land of Eikons as just a different Prelude, that's how versatile this song is). I cannot overstate how much i love it. And seeing Cloud play it in game is just a treat, so thanks for doing it man.

Such a simple tune, and yet it has so much weight and history behind it, probably the single best video game music of all time in my opinion
