This might be crazy to say but one of the main things that would sell me on this is the aft anchor hole. What I really wanna see is this launched from a beach and then going through the breakers. How well will it handle then? I think the width of this kayak would be beneficial to divers. I also like the forward and rear hatches but I think it should have a center console as the Kracken does as well.
What an amazing Kayak, I have been looking into buying a fishing kayak in the coming months and this just topped my list with this informative video. If your customer service is as professional as your videos you hit a home run.
My only question is can I install a Lowrance Unit in this kayak without drilling any new holes?
There are a lot of ways to install one on this kayak. The best thing to do avoid any drilling would be to mount the unit using Ram Mounts to the Yakattack Gear Tracs provided. You could the battery inside the kayak through a hatch and simply run the wires out the hatch. Another option would be to use the CellBlok www.yakattack.us/CLB_1001_p/clb-1001.htm.

Is this a good kayak for fly fishing slow moving rivers, bays for sturgeon, and possibly trolling for salmon?
prolly not. for fly you want flat deck. If your landing your line in the deck. you don't want it wrapped up on junk

discusctx I agree with you. Beach launch and through the breakers. If it can handle that much then I wouldn't worry about how well it performs on a lake.

does the insert patern for the mounting bracket for micro anchor, strong enough to hold a trolling motor? or torqueedo?
While it has never been tested for that purpose, a small motor like the torqueedo would not likely put a lot of pressure on the kayak. If you try it we would love for you to share your experience with us!

While this Kayak would work, it may not be the best offer for open water. It is designed to be supper stable for standing in inshore type fisheries. The Jackson Cuda, however is more of an open water yak and would give you more speed to hit the blue water! Here are the specs: jacksonkayak.com/jk-kayaks/kayak-fishing/cuda/

How big of a person can this Kayak fit? Can it hold someone that is 5'7" 360lbs

where is the cup holder for the open drink?
Just in front of the bungie for the water bottle there is a cup holder for keeping your drink up right.

The screws needed to attach the cleat should be 5/8" 1/4X20.
