She was a murderer and even tried to kill ellie and her freind at the end, but still except these two who didn't do her wrong as audiences we couldn't hate her for killing people witnessing what she and girls like her had to go through for fame and success. I couldn't pity those murdered men as they were some old pigs abusing young girls for their own pleasure. It was sad beacause it was real. Probably many beautiful girls in the entertainment world had to suffer like this behind the scenes. The only thing I didn't get was how she just put their dead body there and there was no terrible smell of dead body in the apartment to make others suspect her 😂
Jack and his friends who manipulated things around Sandie no doubt had it coming, especially Jack, but the movie does leave the door open as to whether EVERYONE Sandie killed was truly deserving of their fate or whether that first taste of bloodlust she had developed into some schizophrenic belief that any man who entered her home was a predator. Sandie's a victim, but she's also a tragic villain, too, and that's why she's such an endlessly fascinating character.
When this twist was happening, I was genuinely surprised and sad at the same time Sandie went through all of that and in the end, she never became the big star she wanted to be, she was just used and abused by hundreds of people The moment when Ellie hugged her really got to me, she really wanted to help Sandie
One thing I found horrifying about Sandy was that there are real girls going through similar cycles of abuse, but for them, there's no ghosts or friends to aid them
This movie was so tragic. I felt so bad for Alex at the end when we just saw her as an old woman sitting on the bed in the room where she died 100 times. 😭😭😭 Her dreams were dashed. At least at the end her ghost can sort of live on and be happy to help Eloise find success.
I never saw her as the villain. Even with all the possible innocent guys she killed who were just looking for a hooker. It’s understandable why she became what she became. It’s why at the end Elle embraced her and not the ghosts trapped in the walls.
I was expecting the movie would be like Black Swan or Perfect Blue and I'm glad I was wrong. Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie are both divine. The film have awesome music and storyline. No wonder it has many positive feedbacks and high rating. It is highly recommended 😌👌

Indifference kills... Any person in any time. That's how villains are made. But It's not true that there're hopeless situations and doomed people. Everyone can be saved. Just don't be insensitive. Great movie.
I finished this movie last night and I'm nothing short of obsessed. I cried for hours, literal hours over it and the music and the whole style. The 60s, while a dark time was also beautiful like any other era. But it's especially Sandie's story that broke me. All I want to do is give that poor girl a hug. She was bright and full of hope, only to be used and abused, and exploited. It's very real and it still happens today and it's nothing short of heart breaking for me. I'm tearing up as I write this haha
I really wanted to see more scenes Sandy becoming weaker and then finally understanding what to do with her life More tragedy, fear to be found by police etc.
Can you make an edit for Sandy Collins from Last night in Soho and use the song "In the night" by The Weekend because the song perfectly describes Sandy.
While its tragic what she went through, there is no justification for becoming a serial killer. Not the day the guys got what they deserved, I’m sure not all of them were abusers as evident she did try to kill Ellie and John. Who’s to say some of the other victims didn’t try to help as well and she was just far too gone by that point?
because eloise went to the police to report sandie's murder, and the police could investigate and find that sandie was alive and linked to the disappearances. even though eloise said she wouldn't say anything more to the police, sandie didn't want to take any chances.
No offense there sweetheart but it's spelled Sandie in the movie. Not Sandy. For being such a huge fan you'd think you'd know at least that basic bit of knowledge.
I loved it when the victims were begging to be avenged and Eloise was straight up "nope, they deserved it."
Tbh they’re not victims they sexually assaulted candy so
Honestly same! Loved that they showed she wasn't actually the villain of the story
Couldn’t have said this better myself.

imagine how many girls like sandie existed irl. makes me sad to know how their hopes and dreams were probably shattered

Sandy is definitely a tragic villain and this song is perfect for this video.

It’s horrifying that you see Sandy as the victim. What happened to her did not justify her becoming a serial killer.
This movie just became my new favourite movie
Same! Definitely a movie I could rewatch a dozen times and still not get bored.
@@clarkeshope7010 same here. This movie was crazy but it was a amazing film from Director Edgar Wright
Same here!
ikrr same its so good and then ending is amazing

Clients of hookers are criminals, not innocent.
"innocent guys she killed who were just looking for a hooker" Oxymoron
Okay but this movie was so good!
Honestly one of my favorite movies ever ❤

I loved the halter dresses in her solo dance sequence. And then what a pleasant surprise it was to see Finnick Odair come to her rescue.
Evil isn't born it's made it's a product of cruel world
That's so true 💔😭
True but her character wasn’t evil. She was for trying to poison Ellie though.

this movie was so confusing at first but i fucking loved it
This movie was a masterpiece!
I just hope they would had explainen cop better left me feeling that he actually cared about sandy
Felt so connected to sandy in this film. From a gay perspective of course.

My favourite movie
Sandy deserved better. 😔
I know right such a tragic character.
Bruh she murdered a full city of men under her desire
She killed those men who bought her as a commodity, she killed criminals. These men are not innocent, they are not pitied.

@@jimhaddad7552 If they didn't want to get murdered they shouldn't have been out so late. They were asking to be murdered

Sandy is the Quene. Jack was not the King.

I don't know why she wanted to kill her
She don't even know she killed someone
Even if she knows she is Cindy so what
Someone tell me
To me a villain is a person who kills the innocent for the crimes others did to them.
What she did wasn't villainy but justice.
Guys why sandy as the older lady try to killed eloise?
because eloise went to the police to report sandie's murder, and the police could investigate and find that sandie was alive and linked to the disappearances. even though eloise said she wouldn't say anything more to the police, sandie didn't want to take any chances.
