@@FrNSICs Technically that part WAS actually in the original, so they did reference the Unova Elite Four. It was just heavily remixed to match with the music in Indigo Disk.

Maybe this is just me, but I could’ve SWORN I heard a bit of the Pokémon Ranger sound font at 0:45. Tell me I’m not crazy I swear that’s from Shadows of Almia!
The melody is still a mess and there's no fixing it, but it's really funny how it works a hundred times better in the gen 5 soundfont. And I don't even like the gen 5 soundfont in general.
@@TheRealMaruki I'm gonna be real, any of the E4 themes after BW/2 just don't really do it for me (except BB League), even gen 7's and I'm usually a Sun/Moon defender, though it and the gen 8 one are solid enough. XY made up for its battle theme though with the theme of the League itself, which was GODLY.
