Thank you ESO this was very informational I've been staying near Rookwood and haven't ventured further than that so far mostly making a home but now i have some confidence watching your vid
Little tip for beginners, while he mentioned metal scrap drops off the scavengers, their camps in general are loaded with it if you take the time to carefully look around. You'll find scrap and lockpicks, even potions, sitting on the tables and what not. Also, besides breaking barrels, there are piles with a little transparent square in them that are lootable, these won't break by hitting them and usually contain a fair bit of scrap as well.
If you go down the stairs to the left in Alchemist location there's another Legendary chest that dropped a "Ring of Endless Life" for me. +3% life leach chance.
I just couldn't get into valheim, but so far I'm loving Enshrouded. I suck at fighting (in any game, I'm really old!)for me the easier the better. Also those brown colored trees drop more resin.
@@riteasrain I just couldn't get into Valheim. I got a s far as crafting bronze, and it got so grindy and boring I uninstalled it. I don't know if I got far enough into it to say if it's easier or not.
fully upgrade the legendary sword and you'll be two shoting the guys in the alchemist vault. I dropped a flame alter next to the farm (for plant fiber farm), and it's a really fast run back to the vault after grabbing the sword.
There's actually 2 sites of closer/easier flint. Ironically, one of them is at the ruins you used to waypoint. It's on the ground just a bit outside the shroud line. The second is just a bit past the very first return beacon after you come out of the cave from waking up along the cliff side.
15:00 So that's what I was wondering - you don't really need a level to equip gear, lol. I bought this game yesterday, and it looks amazing. The only thing I missed was dual daggers as weapons (assassin) instead of a bow. The game itself reminds me of Outward/Ark, but I've never played any other builder game, so that's the only reference that I have. XD Thanks for the guide, and have fun, everyone!
Great video and the you mentioned you're looking for a better bow? The Scavenger Camp actually drops an "Ornate Wooden Bow" lvl 5, 9 power, +7% arrow speed, and 4 Enhancements: Vicious (backstab) 20%, Precise (crit chance) 5%, Vicious again 20% and Brutal (crit damage 20%) This drops in the chest at the Mine Shaft after you clear the slag pile at entrance with bombs - try it and it might be the best bow in the game. I've upgraded the first two enhancements and it's awesome. scrapping every weapon I can to get all 4 enhancements
@@riteasrain Unfortunately, once extinguished, the altar is gone and no mats are returned. So, it's still a good idea to carry some extra stone, or grab some along the way, in order to craft a new flame altar.
Nice, you only started the playthrough here and already built something resembling a proper house. I'm almost finished with the game, and I'm still living in a 3×6 hut half of which doesn't even have walls. 17:08 When I noticed it's possible to jump on climbable objects I stopped climbing them almost entirely. Not only is it faster, but you spend less stamina as well. So, Arachnoid perk in the Survival branch is almost completely useless and the only reason to pick it is when you want Dessert Stomach and Backstab Mastery without taking Good Metabolism from the right branch. IMHO, but it should cost 1 point instead of 3 and it's barely worth that 1 point. 24:42 If you go straight from this point and slightly lean to the left along the ruins you may notice a tiny patch of flint on the ground. Surprisingly, there's more than enough flint in that one place than you'll know what to do with. It's just easier to access than the one on the side of the cliff. Also, two-handed melee weapons are kinda terrible in this game and the only few reasons to use them I know are: you are playing as leaping barbarian for fun; you've taken Sneak Attack and want to make use of it (instead of picking it just for Backstab Damage); your other weapons broke and that's what you are left with.
Thanks for this, it is helpful to have some starter direction as I find the landscape a bit disorienting. How many flame altars (fast travel points) can you place in total? Before following your path I found a legendary Bronze Sword under the bridge inside the third pillar base, behind rubble pile, that is higher level than the Wailing Sword, does more dmg but has fewer upgrade levels. Fun.
I picked up the Wailing Blade Sword, but I dont see what is so special about itm the Wolf's Maw I am current using appears much better looking at the numbers? Am i missing something about the sword?
How does this compare to Valheim? It looks interesting but im wondering about the pacing, I really liked how you had to work your way up in Valheim. It was a grind but it wasnt tedious
The pacing is quite similar, though i'd say you have some more options after the initial setup on how you progress into the rest of the game. I'd say things progress allot faster than Valhiem, it feels a bit more casual in some ways.
@@user-bv5ms8df5b i agree, but also disagree. I very much agree with it being tedious with graydwarfs throwing rocks at you etc but to me the grind itself wasn’t tedious and the fact that the enemies were annoying made gearing up more rewarding. The grind towards better gear made those enemies less and less annoying because you’d die way less. But yeah, Valheim is by no means perfect but it’s my favorite survival game
Wands have a medium range and then the shot fades, the bow(and staff with attack spells) will shoot further but wands are about 20 or so feet, maybe, eyeballing distance is a bit off in this.
Drops aren't the same quality for everyone. I've had many under the quality of the ones i saw drop for streamers. And i get many dupes from farming the chests.
Yes, yes, and you plus 15 others so 16 total. Fair warning; quest, chest, and enemy loot, are server based not client. So if you complete a quest, it completes for everyone. If someone loots a chest, it'll be empty for everyone else. Chest do respawn when you reload the world though.
How many times must he tell you Get Out!.. That annoying Black Smith, I feel like leaving him outside without any roof over his head. Danny, you missed two chest's on the lower level. One is to the left as soon as you enter the tower, there is a button door as just before the first lot of enemies in the tower. The other is behind the stairs in the tower where the enemies are located, the wooden platform in front of you go right and the immediately left there is a set of stairs leading down and a wooden wall you can break. Near where you used the wand there is a small camp and silver chest, near the alchemist's tower location just before you go to the outside enemies.
I'd like that if we can get the same sort of moves as the Scavengers do, but for now, I'd settle for them making melee in general more satisfying, especially 2 handed melee.
this game is so great but the combat is pretty boring, one button for attacking is lame, really hope they can add some depth soon, this game has a lot of potential
It's kinda pointless to hunt for this legendary sword, if your basic weapon crafted from SCRAP has a better damage output. Unless you want a torch weapon, though seeing how fast durability goes down, this is laughable - few mobs killed and you're already down 75% of durability. Some legendary weapon. For this reason I don't like RPGs with item durability, because majority of devs put it in as a reflection of real life items, but then they break in a moment, so you end up running around collecting resources, just to recraft the same items over and over. Game looks promising and I like how "full" the world is, so exploration will definitely be a great factor, however if not balanced properly - it will be hindered by all the mundane chores you have to repeat to make do. That's not fun. At leased increase durability based on rarity of the items (Minecraft did that pretty well, yeah I know, but regardless what anyone thinks - it is still a very popular crafting/survival/rpg and there are plenty good reasons for that).
I really dont appreciate how in your part 3 you mention this video was the one to unlock the blacksmith then in this one tell me it the previous. Besides that ill get what I was looking for I suppose but it all felt a bit too mental click baiting
Not trying to be a a-hole here, but I have to say this isn't a very well made walktrough. You are constantly skipping stuff. Suddenly you have a 2-handed weapon or a door on your house but you never explained where you got them from or how they are made.
If we could only skip out on the boring forging and building a fort would consider buying this game,! They should update this to enter the game with a base already built and only forge is for weapons or upgrades and not waste your life chopping a tree lol. Would make way more money and cast a wider net. I know I'm saying why don't they just make a different game for me but it's what I want hahaha
Many gamers love building and all the homely stuff that goes with it, and exploring. Especially veteran gamers that have been around a long time and want balance and more than just combat and running around madly like the younger set.
