Why he didn't like to attended interview is the way of Nigerians sees speaking foreign language in important that your own language. Franch players are not like that . If at all he couldn't good in spoken English, those that mean that the journalist who wanted to granted him interview should not got him interpreter for him .

I worked at first bank ibadan, during which i had the privilege of meeting and speaking with him on three different occasions, ...I can authoritatively tell you that he was not sick, he was rather happy, funny and gave me cash gift on each off such occasion. I couldnt stop crying when i heard about his "MURDER" . one of the things i will do when i have more weight is to investigate, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators. Nigeria is a failed country.

@@adetunjihabeeb6681 yes o. They are the ones that brought Alfas from ilorin to come and take care of him as if they are doctors. The man was withdrawing small money to take care of himself and calls his daughter abroad steady .. living a peaceful life.... Today they have probably taken over his naija properties and wasted the man for selfish gains. He was carried away tied in ropes by force.

Thank you Channels! Thank you Mr.Tijani!
It makes me glad to know that the truth is been told.
It`s a pity how deadly and character assassinating rumors are peddled
with reckless abandon. This report makes me happy.

It still comes down to accountability, in most civilized societies, when foul play is suspected in one's death, investigations are made, and people are held to account. So if mr Yekini's was killed and the people responsible are allowed to walk, well...

The Nigerian super eagles goalscoring chart is too low
37 goals is the record ?
I know I didn't watch Yekini too much but from 1993 , I don't think he scored that much goals ( for a striker )
So to still be the highest goal scorer means Super Eagles strikers are really poor in the goals department

He represented Nigeria in 62 appearances throughout his career and scored 37 goals. Messi has appeared for Argentine Senior National team 174 times and has scored 104 goals thus far. It's up to you to do the math
