I have two different shades in Ilia but they are not neutral enough. I am medium deep/tan and could not find a match which was disappointing. It doesn’t work for those with golden or neutral tones. It comes across very warm (pinkish).
@@ominovillellc3336 Yeah I totally get what you mean, have you tried any of the new shades they just released? Maybe you can get a little sample from Sephora of in-between shades (the new ones they released) and try one of those out. It's frustrating when brands don't get the undertones right!
In all honesty I skip through videos almost all the time but for some reason because I'm impatient and need people to get to the point you made me sit and listen to what you had to say LOVE THE VIDEO, it was a much needed review!!!

I had kosas in my hand and the beautiful Sephora SA convinced me to switch it to ilia and tried to color match me... it looked too lite but of course oxidized on me and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong but when I heard you say ashy 💡that’s what happened. Not a good look. I’ve got kosas in my cart and although I have a few dry patches. I can live with that as long as I can color match.
You’re so sweet!! Also yeah ashy is never a good look! Kosas as a great shade range. I find the ilia (even with their new shades) is hard to find a good match! I have to mix two together to get the shade that I want.
Hi. I appreciate the comparison for all three products. Kosas is the only one I'm using (since I used up other brands) and everything you said is true about the product. I like it. Since the brand expanded the concealer range maybe they will further expand the tinted oil foundation as well(?). I had a fruitless visit to Sephora last July to shade match Ilia Skin tint with Spf. I will order samples like the other commentor. I've been matched to 15 or 16 online but other reviewers said it was too red and actually went up shade 14 (way less red) which wasn't bad because like you said it's thin. The Ilia Serum foundation according to several online foundation finders doesn't come up with a match for me. I'm neutral to neutral golden. Should get samples of that too. Thanks for sharing!

I use my EXA primer with the Kosas, and it helps with dry patches. Any primer of choice might help.

What do you use to set the Ilia skin tint? I was thinking of getting the Ilia finishing powder but I’d rather use what I already have.
I use the Ilia Powder or the Kosas Powder! I have also tested the Laura Mercier and the Hour Glass Powders! They all do a great job
