Please make a video showing how to process multiple orders of different weights and items (not to be confused with Batch orders)
I've notice on another shipping platform called Shopify, multiple orders are selected from the orders menu then the user is sent to a page called "Create Shipping Labels" where all the orders are listed one after the other and the user simply need complete the necessary information for each order (weight, courier, insurance, dimensions delivery package type etc) scroll down and do the same for each of the orders selected. When this is happening the shipping labels cost is automatically updated and when the user has completed filling in the order for all the orders they simply click the purchase shipping labels. Get a dymo label printer 4xl then download shipstation connect and then you wont need to print out cut and tape. saves roughly 5mns per package.
Austin Klenk how do you connect the dymo label printer & shipsation ? Will it give an option to print to it or is it Bluetooth
Cindy Ramirez the dymo printer is usb. Youll have to download dyml label writer software which has the printer drivers included. then download shipstation connect. Login with your shipstation email & password. then once shipstation connect is open plug the dymo label printer in. then go to shipstation under print settings and choose the dymo label printer from shipstation connect that’s plugged into your computer.

Just from my own personal experience, and this is for anyone who cares......whenever I print out shipping labels via my printer, I definitely use super clear tape and I always place the tape over the barcode. I just make sure the tape has no air pockets, lumps, etc. I do so because the package will go through a lot before it reaches its destination and has to be scanned again once it gets to where it’s going. The rubbing against other material and weather in the post office warehouse can damage the barcode so the tape acts as a protective barrier. It can still be scanned with clear tape over the barcode 😀 however, if ones chooses not to do that then it’s still not an issue

I have a question about ShipStation, you said you had money on your account so does that mean you pay for the shipping cost through the website or at the post office? When it comes to paying for labels I’m mildly confused on how that’s paid. Is it through you or the customer? And where do you pay it in order to have a successful package drop off. Please let me know it would be so helpful!
It's like this, whatever you're product is price it on based all the cost it made to make the product. Plus add the cost of shipping, so when shipstation spits out the price based on weight. Then you can also add that also to fee, or you can pay for that shipping label fee out you're own pocket.

Great video. You actually can put tape over the barcodes. It has to be transparent see through tape only!. The machine will still be able to scan it. I talked to the usps worker she says aslong as it's see through.

In order to get a label online, you have to pay for it first. Once you pay for it, the label will be created. Then you can download the label and print it out.
Yes, that’s why I can walk into the post office and simply drop off the package.
You can get a kitchen scale for $10 at Walmart
Printing labels is more economical using the "Zebra LP 2844 Direct Thermal Label Printer" you never have to buy ink and the labels stick on packages after printing so it saves you time...check on e(Bay)...

Yes, it does. You have to create a stamps.com account, who is where the postage is purchased through.
Hey Eboni, thank you for the video 💕i just got an influx of orders and shipping directly with USPS was gonna cost me over $1000 😫but this literally helped me cut it in half! thank you... my one question is, when i print the label off and bring it to the post office, a lady told me i had to get them scanned in first before they could be shipped or they'd be returned to me. but i didnt see you scan yours in? if you put it in the bin does that let the employees know those packages in the bin need to be scanned?

It seems like you already have large order volumes have you thought about scheduling to have someone at USPS come to your address and pick up your orders? That can help lower your costs and save you time. I think it’s a free service they offer depending on how many packages you need to ship.
I was wondering that too..but i was too scared to just drop it in that thing...so i went to a man and it seem like he was the right person to go to..he scanned it and gave me a receipt and told me thats it..everything worked out..hope this help

shopify for ecommerce.
Everybody like Shopify. But it’s a little complicated for a beginner like me. Meaning you have to play around with it awhile in order to get use it. I recommend. Wix, big cartel or Godaddy. I’m with Godaddy. I love it!

So I don’t know exactly how to say this but I hope you can understand... so I’m really confused on how shipping works. Ok so one your website when a customer checks out they pay for shipping, but how do you use that money to pay for shipping so you don’t pay with your money since they paid for shipping? I hope that makes sense..

Eboni. Print on sticky back paper. Cut, peel, then stick. Eliminate the taping part. Buy bulk on ebay.

Desaree' Johnson that was the price of shipping. Ship station works with many businesses and so they tend to give you better shipping discounts. You might want to check their website, it shows all the platforms they connect to, not sure if wix is one of them though.

You have to top up the account and they deduct the shipping cost from there.

This doesnt really advise how to create a label when the order is already processed through a website. If you have customers outside of this portal what actions do you use to actually "create" to make them start to finish? This is more so what directions to take after a customer has already made a order through your site..

Download the labels, select them, press print, Go to print properties & choose multiple on a page.

How was your shipping cost so low? Especially when it was first class. I just printed my first label, standard ground shipping from Ohio to Michigan and it charged me like $10

So I'm clear you pay for shipping out of pocket? The Shipping fee the customer pays goes into your pocket with the product fee?
You pay for shipping with the money the customer gives you for shipping on your website.
Example Customer Order:
2x pink lip gloss = $15
Shipping = $5
Total = $20
When it's time to pay to ship the package to your customer you will use those $5 to pay for it.
