i’m kinda glad about that because geekdom made a great point. with that hour taken away that means less tv time for the boys and girls. and ppl like the creed brothers ivy nile maxxine karrion etc. need that time to get better
Never thought we get a 2hour raw again. Maybe TV 14 Raw is next. Maybe roster rotation can help with screen time for talent. Don't need to see the smaw talent every week.
Only cons I see is the current state of RAW is really good right now with the 3 hours and talent probably have less TV time. But honestly can get mad at all, most of the audience wanted it be 2 hours for years ever since initial became 3 hours. Also it’s only while, think we’ll go back when it goes to Netflix.
I really want it to stay 2 hours long and for it to stay that way because I find it much easier to watch. However, if they need to give certain members of their roster time then maybe that should create another weekly show that people can watch, if they are interested.
I think RAW back to 2 hours is a great idea. Smackdown and NXT have been 2 hours and always feel like they fly by. Also, the third hour of RAW usually hurts the ratings more than helps. Now, I do understand this might mean less time for the mid-card at least while in USA but it's only for a couple months. Now if RAW stays 2 hours on Netflix and is commercial-free, it's a win/win. That means more time for matches and more investment in the show. It would also make up for the lack of that third hour. My only real big worry is Smackdown suddenly being made into 3 hours to make up for RAW in 2025. I do admit 2023-2024 hs been some of the best 3 hours RAWs since they made the change but unless it's a PPV, 2 hours has always been the sweet spot.
RAW since Mania has been a breeze to sit though at 3 hour (for the most part) and is consistently the better show then SD week after week. While there is the occasion downer episode, Triple H, especially in the past like 6 months have perfected the 3 hour RAW. I never would have said this back when Vince still had say in the company, but it's actually disappointing RAW is going back to 2 hours. But if this is only temporary until RAW goes to Netflix then I can't imagine there will be any releases if WWE plans to go back to 3 hour. They had Odyssey Jones on the roster for like a year or two before ever even trying to use him. At worse the TV only cast will get like a 4 month vacation (though I'm sure they'll still work house shows/live events) If WWE does start downsizing the roster after this move to 2 hour, then it could be a sign the change is here to stay.
Triple H was able to run NXT smoothly when it was an hour show on Network. Some weeks we saw the bigger names push the important stories and other times we saw the lower card get their tv time. Of course, I’m not saying that’s how he’ll handle Raw moving forward, I’m just saying people shouldn’t be complaining about the 3rd hour getting removed without first seeing how the show will run in the coming weeks.
SmackDown should be three hours! Two hours is not enough time to showcase the talent! If not they need a third show or they’re gonna have a lot of underutilized talent. Or just make NXT a main roster show!
No show on tv should be 3 hours. It’s one thing for PLEs to be that long, but the human attention span can’t keep up with that much wrestling on a weekly basis
It’s already been confirmed they will go back to three once it hits Netflix!

I think it should be 2 hours permanently

2 hours is much easier to write for then 3 hours.
Also I think moving to 2hours is for the Netflix move

SmackDown used to fly by, but when they give Legado and Baron Corbin screen time it drags down the show.

When they move to Netflix, I'd be content if the normal shows were 2 hours, extending upto 2.5 hours (if and when needed).
Geekdom do you think WWE is going to do a civil war with the blood line. Roman, The Rock and the USO's vs the current blood line

This will benefit them. Better matches on regular tv/ Netflix programming. Less dryer segments; and it’ll be more about storylines on screen.
Nice

Oh I thought they said it was 2 hours commercial free/limited
The woman going to get 10 seconds now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ive been saying for every RAW should be 2hrs. 3hrs is way to long for wrestling and adds meaningless filler
Maybe I’ll watch again but I don’t really like the current roster
ngl, i only watch about 90mins of raw.. i speed through matches and promos of superstars i dont like.
No con.. three hours is way too long.

You want NXT to be another ECW? A C+ show.

Boooooooo
There's no need to keep wasting time on the Tozawas and the women's awful tag team division
