Apparently phone arena (Amazon) had a sale on the 10 pro, so I ordered it $499 or something. I guess saving $300.... OnePlus will probably drop price eventually. I have a 8t I'd be upgrading from.

I came to OnePlus from iPhone this year and i love both the hardware and the software.
On my 10P now and loving every second of it.
Ive had OP devices now since February of 2023 so the only Oxygen OS I'm familiar with is what we have right now and it IS! why I chose OP as my iPhone replacement.
OOS is very reminiscent of iOS. But has many improvements.
    Pay attention apple!!
    OnePlus is out appleing you.

I've come from a OnePlus 6t to the 11 and I get why everyone screams bring back oxygen os. Simple stuff like having the quick settings disabled while the screen is locked is on the 6t yet missing from the 11. Hopefully a software update can fix this but it's a major security risk if you leave your phone somewhere that someone can just turn data off or aeroplane mode

Great video appreciate the information but at this stage 8K 24 frames per second is a total waste for a cell phone. You really can't see the difference whatsoever from 1080P if you wanna be honest with yourself. Also, that is a battery drain dump. Just try to film in 8K and see how long your battery lasts. Film an 8K and see how much your storage disappears within a couple months.
We can split hairs on the cameras all day long everybody hates the 10T camera but honestly I really can't tell the difference between those 2 cameras and I think they're fantastic. I saved Over a $150 with the 10T and I couldn't be more happy for $649 I can charge my phone 0 to a 100% and under 20 minutes. You can't even tell the difference between 4K versus 1080P. Also your phone will heat up dramatically too filming in 4K or 8K just not worth it anymore. So good luck to you without 8K video. In terms of performance snapdragon 8 Gen. One Versus snapdragon 8 Gen. 2. Let's be serious you're not gonna notice the difference between those 2 flagship ships.... Just get The 1 + 10T. That has a snapdragon 8 plus Gen. One. You are not gonna notice any difference between any of those flagship chips whatsoever. It's getting to the point there all we're talking about are geek benches and specs that you're never really gonna notice with your everyday use. Buy the phone that is at least amount of money get the 10T. You won't Be disappointed and you won't spend over $800 either

I'm considering moving to oneplus from an older LG phone. There are some great deals now, at best buy, on the 10 pro, but within $50 to $100 for the newer oneplus 11. Upgrading from LG would you recommend the 11 or the 10 pro? Would you recommend either of these over the samsung s23plus? (I'm mainly leaning towards OnePlus because of the 1440 resolution option. Can't believe the s23+ doesn't have this).

Who cares about reverse wireless charging. I'd never use that once in my life. Not only that wireless charging is slow and ridiculous. you have 80 W of power and you can charge your phone up to 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes.... is that not good enough for anybody???? I have the 10T and I can charge my phone up in Nineteen Minutes.. I could care less about wireless charging.... this is so ridiculous. Do you want a phone that takes you an hour and 10 minutes to charge up with a cable record If but it has wireless charging at 20 Watts??? Or do you want no wireless charging that you have any W of super fast charging and it takes you 28 minutes to do 0 to a 100... Which one do you like? Do you want the phone that takes 2 hours to charge but has wireless charging and reverse charging? Or do you want No wireless charge but you can get a charge in 20 minutes that will last you the whole day? I guess your answer as you want everything, the reverse wireless charge, Wireless charging, and you want to charge your phone up in 20 minutes... Spoiled rotten... Well next time when we make the phone we'll give you a reverse wireless charge and you can wait an hour to charge your phone up with the brick. How about that? Gere at 1 +, were trying to save people's time, but no you want to reverse wireless charge.. Which all reports at 1 plus tell us no one even uses, ever... . crazy...
So I guess you want to wait 2 hours to charge up your phone... wonderful... Just don't understand.. I just don't get the crazy consumer anymore.... How about you don't buy any of our phones.. One plus VP.
My boss was right, he said for me not to watch these crazy reviews cause I'm gonna make you very angry. And hes bright.. Reverse wireless charge craziness..

I upgraded from the 10 Pro to the 11 because of the overheating issue. It was severely impacting my battery life and hurting my hand when recording videos. Nothing too serious, but enough of a concern to move on from it. It's a night and day difference. Longer and more dependable battery life and more consistent camera performance. Plus extended software support. 11 will get Android 17 whereas the 10 Pro ends with Android 15. I also own the Pixel 7 Pro and at the moment, I'd say the 1 + 11 is better overall.

    • @northerner4995

@@Bob_Squared23 I've made due understanding that the OnePlus 11 camera is not great. But how is the software compared to your pixel? Is it much worse?

    • @Bob_Squared23
      @Bob_Squared23 ปีที่แล้ว

@@northerner4995 The Hassleblad color science utilized for the OnePlus 11 isn't always bad. It might be a bit oversaturated (not to the degree of a Samsung or even LG), but it captures a lot of detail and can be very pleasing to the eye. Sometimes it matches with what you actually see, but OnePlus photos will always be warmer whereas Pixel photos will be cooler. That can be a benefit and a detriment depending on the subject and surroundings. Either way the differences in HDR, white balance, contrast, etc., can be edited. The P7P definitely has better zoom. Anything past x2 on the OnePlus 11 is pushing it, but the latter takes better portrait shots. Selfie camera performance for photography can be back and forth between the two. Rear video in ideal conditions the OnePlus 11 is better, but in other conditions the P7P is better. Night time shots and videos the Pixel again is better.
As for software, I prefer the Pixel UI over OOS13/Color OS 13 because it is simple, smooth, and fluid. There are less bugs, but I'll say this. The OOS13/Color OS 13 is much more customizable and in my opinion it's like a diet or light version of Samsung's One UI. Battery life is fantastic on the OnePlus 11. It's phenomenal! I can get 7-8hrs of SOT on it and the 80wat quick charging is top notch. My P7P can get me anywhere from 4-6hrs of SOT depending on what I'm doing, but it usually gets me through a typical day of use. Heating control is better on OnePlus 11 than the P7P.

I've had my 10Pro since February of this year and have never had my phone over heat or get hot except for the one time I left it in my work truck this summer and the sun moved enough to shine directly on it for a few hours.
Yah it wouldn't even turn on until it cooled down which was turning the AC on and holding it in front of the vent for several minutes.

Nothing against the 10pro but if you get the 11 with 16gb RAM with UFS 4.0, it comes with 4 years of promised Android updates vs 3 of the 10 Pro and the Gen 2 is more efficient. I had the Pixel 7 Pro and their camera was not superior to that of the OP11 and is a very overhyped device. I dropped links to other videos below to highlight how well OP11 stacks up to the other flagships to prove my point. And I've not had any issues whatsoever with inconsistent shots. It does use AI to determine what shot you're trying to capture and therefore it will toggle between different modes such as main to macro which can produce different results. Yes, OP11 did make decisions such as not including wireless charging since their battery life is awesome and they have fast charging. They don't offer IP68 but only IP64 which is fine because I've seen videos on here that show it submerged for over 5 minutes and it works just fine. It also only offers USB 2.0 and not 3.1. So yes, corners are cut to bring down the cost but the camera is not an area cut and performs very well. Also, do other flagships offer charging bricks and pre-installed screen protectors? I think not. Camera quality is admittedly subjective but your assessment of the situation is quite off base.
Thanks though for your thoughtful responses. Cheers!
