Unlike cling wrap, this is more breathable and movable too. Well yes, it would SOMETIMES ,if peeled off wrong, like this person did Could ruin the fresh tattoo. Buy usually the tattoo artist would tell the client to take a Luke warm/warm shower to SLOWLY lift and peel off the second skin,or saniderm, or whatever they used, so it'll come off much more easily and not as painful and ruin the tattoo. Just like a band-aid on a cut, or burn. It needs to be sticky to protect the cut or burn, and when you go shower, wash your hands or even just get water on a band-aid it gets soft and falls off. So we AREN'T going backwards in technology. Just made a bigger band-aid to help heal tattoos better. Lol

I have several tattoos that had saniderm on it and if you take it off properly with water, then it's not going to harm your skin or your tattoo at all 😊

It’s great actually, I leave mine on for a few days if the tatt isn’t leaking too much, it gets you past the scabbing part if done correctly the tattoo comes out WAY cleaner

There is actually a smoother way of removing it which is always a bit uncomfortable but shouldn’t be painful. Tattoos are already painful enough lol.
I’ve used this before and it’s not bad. I wouldn’t want to use it either after watching this video tho😅 When removing these it should be done under warm water while slowly pealing it. These basically eliminate the scabbing process, hope this helps ♥️

It's a new thing the last two tattoos I got recently they covered it like that but I was told wear it three days and take it off the third day in the shower it came off easily but it survived the showers before that I think it's because moisture settles under the plastic after you shower it always feels moist I couldn't wait to take it off

Any time I get a massive amount of surface area I just get a cling film wrap. My boyfriend gets skins because his are smaller. I made him take it off in the shower. Peeling off the top creating a puddle slowly pushing water between the skin and his skin. Comes straight off.

awh🥺.. so for my really big sheets of saniderm, i always get my fragrance free hand soap w/ aloe vera, plain coconut oil, and either get in a warm shower or soak in a warm tub (not hot!) and they slide off like butter👌🏼.
Just used my first saniderm in a tat last week. Best healing I've had yet and in only 4 days time. This was NOT how I took mine off. I did it slowly and with the use of products that help breakdown the adhesive and help it to leave behind more scab. This looks like more trauma to the skin than the tattoo was. Idk enough about blackout in the trauma sense but the coverage looks pretty even. Nice job on the tat itself.
A waste? Blackouts are a great way to cover old tattoos you don’t like anymore. It’s better than seeing something you can’t resonate with anymore on your skin.

Too many nowadays wont do a tatt unless they cover it with this shit. I tend to have minor reactions to it as well but luckily hasnt destroyed my tatts. Theyre def not as vibrant, even the solid black looks aged already after 6mths, as if it was 10yr+ old

If you pull the screen in the opposite direction (to yourself if taking it from someone else) it stretches and the glue becomes more sparsely applied and it just falls off 😊
No this is legit I get huge pieces and you should always pull it towards the edge and stretch the saniderm it will come off with ease minimum pain and far less damage!

Eva use after about 3-5 days the saniderm fills with plasma, blood and ink meaning the tattoo can get infected. One should leave it on for about 4-5 days and let it heal no saniderm.
They're not removing the tattoo, it's called a "Blackout Tattoo" btw, but what they're doing is removing a protective film that's supposed to keep dirt out and keep the tattoo covered so it doesn't get ruined.

Just a lil tip having used this stuff for a massive abdominal surgery which then proceeded to what they medically call dehiss which means it burst open after beginning to heal anyway if u pull horizontal not away from the skin but just to the side and pull the glue will speed and release old trick I learned from a nurse
The way you can keep your tattoos protected and vibrant ( I mean white is still white after a year) use bepanthen cream yes it is used for nappy rash in babies but it helps heal quicker and keeps it protected from the sun so when it does fully peel it will stay hella vibrant oh and make sure you keep the tattoo moist with it and only apply a thin layer not too thin tho I’ve noticed because I don’t think it’s in America that healed tattoos fade a touch but it literally looks like a sticker if you use it correctly

Why not leaving in the place until naturally fall when it’s healed? Or it was for other purpose?
Eva use after about 3-5 days the saniderm fills with plasma, blood and ink meaning the tattoo can get infected. One should leave it on for about 4-5 days and let it heal no saniderm.

They're not removing the tattoo, it's called a "Blackout Tattoo" btw, but what they're doing is removing a protective film that's supposed to keep dirt out and keep the tattoo covered so it doesn't get ruined.

Just a lil tip having used this stuff for a massive abdominal surgery which then proceeded to what they medically call dehiss which means it burst open after beginning to heal anyway if u pull horizontal not away from the skin but just to the side and pull the glue will speed and release old trick I learned from a nurse

The way you can keep your tattoos protected and vibrant ( I mean white is still white after a year) use bepanthen cream yes it is used for nappy rash in babies but it helps heal quicker and keeps it protected from the sun so when it does fully peel it will stay hella vibrant oh and make sure you keep the tattoo moist with it and only apply a thin layer not too thin tho I’ve noticed because I don’t think it’s in America that healed tattoos fade a touch but it literally looks like a sticker if you use it correctly
