Fifty years ago today, me and Becky ran away
From our family and friends that we loved.
It was her Dad and mine, they fought all the time
But they couldn't kill our feelings of love

Three daughters and two little boys
They grew up and moved away, me and Becky's hair turned grey
Side by side in a home made of joy.

Alex is so good on that banjo. It’s not just the solo portion where he shines, either. He really excels at playing around the melody like, forgive me if you don’t like the comparison, but how Jerry Garcia would play around the melody throughout a song. Melanie too, she also has a great ear, especially for being the youngest in the bunch, to fill in the music with the right notes at the right time to amplify the song’s quality. Superb!
Alex is 1 swell dude.
