I personally like the "Fuck your armour" mentality and go 6 proficiency, 6 songchant since they both increase the innate Pen. Combo it with sear, and that extra HP from vitality is just 1 hit away from being negligible.
Bro I run 0 erudition on all my builds and i'm never unable to cast mantras, you mfs just need to stop being mages and it's all good. Fighting close up with mantras as mix-ups is better for you in the long run anyways

Due to him disliking 60 HP this would mean he made a build dedicated for silent with 90 fortitude and HP kit that could give 110. This could help give him a vent advantage but, of course this will get countered strongly against shadowcast just as long as maintain constant ether full and not get whiffed from ardour scream he can manage with ether blade and engage talent

being pigeonholed in buildcrafting is lame, so i'm happy with the journey erudition has been on from being 3 minimum on launch, indirect nerfed slowly to 4 week over week, and finally being 2 these days--i'm not sure how it feels in pvp, but any lower and you won't be able to cast damage rotations in pve still think proficiency should have granted posture instead of being songchant 2.0; whole point of traits was to take stats off talents and they just start adding posture to talents :/
could prob go either way tbh. A good example trait choice would be 6 vit 4 eru 2 prof since flamecharm gets a lot of its damage from burn damage with songchant doesn’t apply to. Songchant could still be worth going tho if you rely mostly on mantras so it sorta depends on your playstyle
For saltchemist, how much Eru do you think would be viable? With ether regen potions, it's fairly easy to just give yourself infinite ether, so similarly to silentheart, the only benefit is just for tempo gain and venting.

less than average for attunements, depends on the specifics of your build and playstyle though so can’t really give an exact answer
2-4 your not really stealing too much tempo most the time and if you hit your mantras your either is high, so you need eru for vents only
