you should do these sort of videos for all the other stats aswell, i feel like this would be very helpful for newbies with build making and explaining what talents you get from certain stats
One thing you forgot to mention is the kyrstear, which is literally just a better parrying dagger As a light player its usually worth it because with the new parry stun changes its not that noticeable to med players but for light players playing against heavy, it's just so cancer to play against (imo) I literally have a clip of me parrying a crypt blade and then perfect casting into jolt grab back, then he just hits me through it
Good vid but I feel like you're underrating cheap shot a bit, goated talent imo, 10% pen on all your attacks is crazy, granted you need a speed boost but so does speed demon
Personally on most of my "Good" builds (can carry in 1100 elo) I go 65 agil for cheap shot and shrine down to 40 agil since i use 6 eru 6 vit on my builds and my mantras dont get a permenant +50% pen without songchant
ghost for silentheart is a must otherwise u can catch ur enemy off guard i prefer obs safety on everything else tho even if i slightly roll earlier than needed the bonus s can save me
i recommend going fortitude post shrine because every 2 points of fortitude is 1 hp, so going post shrine 40 fortitude (for exoskeleton, which is a must have) you get 10 extra hp than if you got it pre shrine but there are some circumstances to get it pre shrine
default to roll canceling in PvP since rolling normally has really bad downsides, mainly the huge endlag that stops you from doing anything. Only roll if you have a reason to/need the extra dodge frames
Hey Spiders i wanted to ask 2 questions. 1. Is Curved blade of winds better thsn than the Gale Hero blade? I was planning on doing a dual attunement build with Gale and Shadow. 2. Many people seem to default to using specter on their Gale build. Is it really that strong now? I know that it got buffed recently. Also how do i use phantom step properly?
I do wanna mention that ghost is mid if you're high investment shadow. Since Dark Rift is literally just ghost but stackable with observation and safety dance.
now I can send this video instead of trying to explain to a stubborn mule that ghost is not needed, you can run a good build without ghost and having good stats is just as important as synergy
Honestly, I always run 40 Agility if I can, Ghost is just too useful to give up for me. You get the option to completely reposition yourself mid-fight multiple times with no penalty, not to mention being able to cancel the i-frames early to catch your opponent off guard. It's especially fun to do this kind of thing with Frozen/Burning Servants, as Risky Moves keeps you safe from another hit while your opponent has to parry the Servants AND deal with the fact that you're right up against them
Tap dancer doesn't work after the new dodge nerf that made the second dodge have a cd of ~2.5 seconds I've tested it with a friend, and if you wanna make sure yourself test it.
Everything is dependent on your play style, of your a passive player and don't go up and close very much, go 25, if your pretty close up type if player but not really aggressive to your enemy or do a lot of pve go 40, and 65 if your really aggressive, up close alot and don't run much, it apply really good pressure with tap dancer and especially cheap shot, I love 65 agility purely based on cheap shot, thats my personal opinion
W vid. Also pairing blade dancer gives you infinite rolls, because will negate the base tap dancer nerf. I used to run ghost a lot especially for layer 2, and one build for pvp, but I found out that I'm really giving my opponent a break as well. Also you can easily fill your specter gauge close to max if you roll cancel twice on a sightless beam. Don't sleep on 25 agl.
you could try to get 75 (50 post shrine) charisma pre-shrine (I know, heavy investment) for stuff like unnecessary theatrics, narcissist/tough love, chaotic charm and manipulator, and then get 25 agility at some point
Also worth noting that 65 agility gives you access to muffled screams, which is maybe the second or first best grip-based card (yeah yeah reaper I know)
I always love going 65 agility as it give me lots of speed and it's the way i like since verse 1,especially with galebreath and when verse 2 release with jetstriker i just always have 65agi jetstriker+gale in on of my slots
wouldnt it make sense to just go 40 agility preshrine because you get ghost and the 25 agility talents?? your going to be giving up those extra points if u shrine properly
sure if you want but on a lot of builds it’s more stat efficient to just go 1 agility pre-shrine and then get 25 agility post-shrine which is what makes the choice between 25 vs 40 agility matter
@@SpidersDW if your going everything pre shrine they maybe but if your only going stuff like dazIng finisher, overflowing dam and unwavering resolve then you'll end up with like 28 agility or something, which i would say for 3 post shrine points ghost looks real nice
I'd like to add that it's sometimes better to use ghost on builds with a slow swing speed because without it, it's significantly harder to maintain your posture since if they decide to attack after you roll you are left with way less options and can't simply m1 them first.
25 for observation safety dance condition runner and others or 45 bloodthirsty if youre running a bleed dmg/posture breaking build and steady nerves and level 3 revenge
I personally would say 40 is the best for pvp build wise and if you really need salvage 15 points you can always shrine of order which I always do after getting conditioned runner which you can get at 25 agility. Either way deepwoken is a block dodge and parry game depending just on dodging will not be enough. but ghost is very useful for trickery most definitely when you have a speed boost along with it making it look like your teleporting.
Thank you, i've gotten so much better at the game since i started watching you (gale main too) i recommend going 30 agility for gale and or thunder build for Aerogliding and Static Fakeout
@@celenial6009 You don't take fall damage if you time it right, and it's THE POINT to slow you down, so you don't take fall damage. But of course if you use it without timing it it's useless.
i like to run 20 agility a lot but to be fair its mostly because i focus on my mantras rather than the cookie cutter like parry trade playstyle so the m1 dmg that i could get from speed demon usually goes into neural overload or something like that

You forgot 25 for spine cutter and conditioned runner, two of the best talents in the game.
tapdancer and air counter are both 60 agility but I would still go 65 for cheap shot

25 charisma imo since charm is really strong
25-ish agility also lets you get conditioned runner which is a very solid talent in my opinion

Will you do something like bad apple but in deepwoken again
