I’m home quarantined and I took the time to use your suggestions and it worked ! Yay after all of these years. I even took a nap and it held! Thank you
I have the most stubborn cowlick on the crown of my head! I’m not very hair savvy, but I’m going to try your suggestions! Thx! Also going to get a carbon comb & some aquage products💕
Hi I've seen someone else mention a carbon comb in the comments but she didn't mention or use one in this video. Is there another place where it was mentioned? This is such an old video but your comment is fairly recent so I'm hoping you see my question. Thanks!
I love this video, thank you so much! I did have to chuckle a little when you said, "I'm a big Aquage user..." and like 70% of the screen is just a million bottles of aquage in the background...I was like, "oh really? hadn't noticed!" :P I say that in a friendly joking way. I really love this video and you seem so nice
I was worried about my flat spot but now I feel less bad haha. And I have to remember to at least blow dry my scalp always to keep it from just being flat from the start.
Hi Barb, I just read all your comments and what you are experiencing is very common as our hair starts to gray our hair changes alot!. Our "wonderful" hormones are to blame for that. One of your questions was about a carbon comb. These combs are perfect for using along with your blowdryer to conquer the cowlicks growth pattern right where it starts, at the scalp where it directly grows from. I believe I showed this technique in my video. You also mentioned curly hair. remember to use a smoothing product in the hair to help lay down the outside layer of your hair shaft so that you get beautiful shine and to diminish the frizz you experience with curly hair. Thank you for asking and watching my videos and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you so much for this video. I always had thick hair and the cowlick wasn't exactly noticeable before, but now I'm noticing that this cowlick seems to be getting worse. I'm 26 years old. Can this lead to balding? I'm just wondering out loud right now. Is this even normal? Going to see a dermatologist pretty soon.
Awesome, thank you. Hardly anyone talks about how to fix flat spots so I found your video really helpful.
NicoleHerrick thank you for watching
72 years old have had a flat head for years and could not fix it tried your method worked first time thank you very very much
How do you do this yourself? It’s easy for the stylist to stand over a head.

Omg wish I'd seen this earlier. Been doing this wrong for years. Thank you!!!
It would really help if you could use a model that actually has a flat spot. This doesn't really show a flat spot being fixed.
Thanks so much! I’m almost 61 and have suddenly developed a flat spot. Now I can get rid of it. 👍
GURRRRLLLL...you just answered my lifelong question, and made it look EZ...gonna try it NOW!! Lisa
How do you get rid of the hair parting that keeps traveling down the back of your head?
Do I brush it back after I set it.

Sam Omen thank you for the feedback 😊
Is there a way to cut the back of the hair to minimize the flat spot or cowlicks?
Thanks. That was very helpful. I’ll try it!

8233 Gary Cowlicks are very normal and as we get older they seem to get stronger.
I find this swirl or cowlick on my crown can be sore? Anyone else????
Yes mine gets sore from the way the hair sits. Is that what you mean?
You really need to demonstrate using a real wide part. This wis as a hair with no flat or wide part
Will shaving my head change my double crown? Beacuse I am so annoyed by the ugliness and itchiness of it, I'm ready to do it!!!
melnjada2 No, shaving your head will not change it. A dermatologist can help you with the itchiness.
Sorry but you talk too much
If you tap twice on the right side of the screen it will jump forward 😉
