So my only question is why? Like what are you gaining other then closing on a round in the chamber or single feed? My rimx has run perfectly so what pushed you towards this?
The big thing in my opinion is a bolt sliding forward during a stage when a shooter is not paying attention to how they are transitioning with the rifle. Round bounces ahead of the bolt and un able to close. Or the shooter slams it closed and breaks an extractor. You have to keep spare parts!! With this mod you don’t have to keep spare parts. There are no more wear items on tensioners and springs in 1000-1500 rounds. I have been running a RimX since 12 months after the release. I caught me 2 times on rounds getting ahead of the bolt. I broke 3 extractors and replaced more than 20 springs, detects and tensioners. When Johnathan told me what he was doing I wanted to be one of the first. I am only 1 of 5 in the wild being shot. It is a dream to shoot and not have to worry about a round getting ahead of the bolt. It also has a harder firing pin strike with more pin fall. This has lowered ES & SD numbers. I will have more videos as I shoot and compete with it more. I have 1500 rounds down it now.
