I love my telephoto lenses. Picking out bits and pieces means you get more value from your day. A dozen different shots instead of one wide angle shot.

Follow a lot of landscape photographers and photographers on youtube, but you have quickly become my favorite. Your attitude and personality really come through on your videos! Keep up the good work!
WOW. What a View you had the pleasure of seeing. Would love to have experienced it with you. Your enthusiasm is very infectious and it's always great to watch your endeavors. Great video. And amazing scenery. Thanks for sharing.

Another great episode of your photographic life.. Thank you Henry My favourite image of the shoot has to be the sunset... Love the light sandwiched between the dark shadowed land and those moody looking clouds.. Absolutely 'Top Drawer'...
Another great location & video... yes I enjoy using my 28-300mm lens for landscapes so I understand your comments... great pics... thanks for sharing..😀
Henry your enthusiasm really puts a smile on my face, and you are often rewarded with stunning conditions and capture them beautifully. In my short time as an amateur photographer, if there is one thing I have learnt from you professionals it is this. When you have run out of wide angle vistas, look closer. Pick out interesting features within that grand vista, a telephoto will always be in my bag 😉👍
Only found your channel a month or so ago but it’s my go to channel when I have a spare few mins and I patiently wait for new content. I’ve just gone back to the very beginning and am working my way back through to current and even in the early days your enthusiasm comes through, maybe not as much as now but it was there. And it’s infectious, so thank you for your time and ability and most of all for talking us through each pic, I feel I’ve learnt so much since I started watching 👍
WOW!! JUST....WOW. Stunning scenery and what a sunset. Cracking photos young Henry. Especially love the pano with the light; that's a keeper. I really love this wainwright set. Thanks Henry for making these spectacular videos.
Great video, thanks. The windmills are sad to me, but they are a reality of today so they are appropriate subjects to appear in photographs. Beautiful shots.
Best photography channel on TH-cam, keep up the great work Henry! What a treat to get that notification when you post the vids. Best wishes from Canada
you inspire to just focus on the scenery and make us forget to think about getting better gear. After following you, i found a new sense of enjoyment shooting with telephoto lenses such as 55 - 200 and even my kit lens, 18 - 140. And TBH, it was all in the mindset to go and heat better gear though the current one still does the job and does it well.
I shoot telescopic landscapes a lot, mostly with an EF Canon 70-200 F/4L. Now that I've migrated to mirrorless, I'm budgeting for Canon's RF 100-500 F/5.6-7.1L, which I hear is brilliant for multiple purposes. That final image is brilliant, worth the wait.
Funny story about Bassenthwaite Lake.. I once went canoeing on there as a kid. Now, as a wheelchair user, I would normally use a stabilized canoe, ( I say 'normally', I haven't been canoeing for years, I'm too old and decrepit for those kind of shenanegins these days!) Anyway, on this occasion I thought I was in a stabilized canoe and I wasn't! And to cut a long story short, I ended up capsizing said canoe and and 'taking a nice leisurely swim in the lake'. Bloody freezing it was! Nearly took my breath away! Right. Now I've told you the funny story, back to the photography.. The point you made about your telephoto lens is precisely why my favourite lens is my 18-200mm f5.6-6.3. It covers all my bases. Yes, it's not the sharpest tool in the box, but it's its versatility that is its selling point.
Another brilliant video! Your hat says "Right Play" but it should say "Right Place" [and maybe also "Right Time"!] - neither of which happen by accident. Delighted your planning and efforts worked out and resulted in such stunning shots!
Fell number 13 was lucky for us, wasn't it ... what a grand day out Henry. I particularly liked the pano of the larger fells at the end, and the sunset was far from shabby too. Nice pub quiz question earlier in the video. I did enjoy the analogy about the telepehoto lens, its a bit like cropping a photo but without losing any detail. As ever, great Henthusiasm .. roll on Wainwright number 14 .. and maybe a cameo of the latest steed?
Thanks for reminding me of my long lens. It has been languishing in my camera bag lately! Also, I live near a wind farm at the base of a mountain, and, I too like to include it in my photos, much to the dismay of my son who “hates the ugly things”! Long exposures of wind turbines is a blast😁. Love the sunset...but who wouldn’t!
Another 'belter' Henry! Just love the 'sun starburst' image in a wonderful setting. You've certainly made the most of the present unsettled and variable weather in the UK. Thanks for posting, Andy

From The other side of the Bowland fells in Lancashire to you a big THANK YOU
I love those classic storybook fields. To have the water, hills and mountains too, make for million dollar photographs or paintings. You’ve encouraged me to to use my telephoto in new ways and I see the benefits. My only worry is my 70-300mm is making an odd noise when it expands and retracts. Maybe some sand got in it? Anyway, love the sights and your more than grand photos. Take care!
