In my head-cannon, Professor Akihabara, was trying to resurrect the past forms of pokemon. The two quilvava's were his first attempt of recreating Hisuian forms.
I think some of these plots and battles were insane! That was some awesome creativity; the iceberg drill, Simisage’s grudge, the rematch with Koga, etc. This is an excellent series! That said, I’m disappointed that the egg from the Prehistoric Pokémon episode still ended up becoming Misty’s Pokémon; Ash could have used a good Electric type. I’m looking forward to part 4!
And when the rest of the starters are randomized, make sure they’re at least basic stage Pokemon. That way they can evolve into their later forms when the time comes
Purrloin and Delibird are easily my favorite Ash captures of this series. (I'm pretty biased since Purrloin is my 2nd favorite Pokémon ever). I LOVE how Purrloin slayed at Blaine's gym! Thank you for that! Delibird's personality is so enjoyable and I love the way he battles.
Can you do “what if dex comics was ashes travel companion” (basically prof oak was worried about ash and asked the strongest trainer in pallet town (dex comics) to help him along his journey)
I feel like it would be funny if in BOTH the Florgess thing AND the Iron bundle fight a random Torocat gets hit for no reason and it becomes a running gag.

The two quilaves combine there fire attack and create the blaze of blind move and blast team rocket and blind 700Japanese children 'I know I'm going to hell'
An idea you could've done is the scientist was studying this Quilava, because it's special breed from the Hisui region basically name dropping the Sinnoh Region. 🤔 I'm fine that Simisage evolved here it makes sense given how he was captured, and given what happened with Iron Bundle. Cool it's not 30 of the same Pokémon Ash caught at the Safari Zone. 👍 The battle between Ash and Misty was pretty good. 🙂 Anyways another really good part, and will check out the next part.

Fully Randomized. It's just that the other pokemon weren't worth mentioning and when Kabuto turned into Iron Bundle it would have played so well into Pansage having it evolve, so I chose to ignore the others in the story
