    Their story teaches me that...As Africans, we don't have to fly to USA, Canada, Europe etc ..to succeed in life. With Focus, Determination & Hard work, We too can succeed beyond imagination right here in mother Africa.

    • @diyside
      @diyside ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Thats true but only for a few. This success story is not achievable for everyone. Kenyan economy still somehow depends on diaspora remittance. I know so many people who have focus, determination and work hard and are still poor. I was one of them for years. Diaspora has its own place for Kenyans and those who can travel should still be encouraged to do it.

      @@diysidebut in Diaspora life is so expensive even with a small job so wat a you talking about?! Africa Is cheap

    • @diyside
      @diyside ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@susankariuki449 life is just expensive period but diaspora has many more opportunities. For example I have friends and family in Kenya who have been trying to get jobs for years there. Here even high school kids have part time jobs. In Kenya things are overpriced compared to the income of the common people. Land within an hour of Nairobi will cost you millions per acre. Here it's much cheaper than Kenya. I love watching most of these stories of success and they do show the opportunities there but it's not for everyone and most of these people start life somewhere else then come back with cash. For example if I came back I would most likely have a success story with capital and experience. My point is don't discourage people from going to the diaspora if they can.

    Sharing their life stories was great. Listen to how the man didnt give up but suspended his uni education, came and worked to raise money and later went back to complete his schooling. He started from somewhere but with humility, hardwork and consistency they both made it to the top.
    Young men and women, boys znd girls, do not despise humble beginings but let this story and Wode Maya's own life stories, motivate you and believe that you can make it too despite your current circumstances.

    I love how this couple just get each other. I love how they love each other and I pray they continue like this in love and business. I only wish I could have had a marriage like this. I am 52 and I have never been married. I admire how my African people grew up knowing the importance of marriage and how it was instilled in them from childhood that this is a must for success. Oh how our culture would be so much better. I truly believe that a young black man needs his father IN THE HOME AND PRESENT IN HIS LIFE DAILY...JUST AS HIS MOTHER IS PRESENT!. Now do not get me wrong I am a single mother of a young black man of which is autistic and even my son saw how his father needed to be in the home. They once had an argument of which I was gonna step in but when I heard what was being mentioned I stepped back and said wow this has been on my son's heart and I said oh this is what a man to man heart to heart is all about. I loved the fact that my son at his age at that time told his father "no you will not whip me", "I want you to listen to me"! It was a wow moment for me and his father. When I tell you guys he backed down and listened to my son and I was wowed again when my son told his father that his problem was the fact his father didn't marry his mother after getting her pregnant. Out of the mouths of babe. I love you Wode Maya and pray I get to meet you and your lovely wife someday.

    Kiswahili (Swahili) should be mandatory to learn for every continental African, and Afro descendant worldwide. It would be easier for us to communicate with each other...The "United States of Africa" was the dream of the "Fathers of Pan-Africanism". All Africans worldwide should support it. One political force, with the capital in Addis Ababa, seeing as though the AU is headquartered there. One currency. One passport. One people, many different ethnic groups. It could work, no matter what the doubters say.

      @Justampleboy ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @oneflash5034 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I am advocating for a unified currency in Africa because it can bring numerous benefits. Firstly, it would facilitate seamless travel and boost tourism by eliminating currency exchange hassles. Secondly, it could lead to cheaper flights within the continent, promoting easier mobility for both business and leisure purposes. Additionally, a single currency would reduce foreign exchange costs, stimulate intra-African trade, attract foreign investment, and enhance economic integration. Overall, a unified African currency has the potential to foster economic growth and strengthen regional cooperation.

    Hey maya…actually I was rather surprised when I started watching TH-cam in Africa…that Africans need a visa to go from country to country…all I used to here about is Africa…I was like what the heck…I live live in the USA 🇺🇸 and it is big country we can travel from state without a visa…so the African leaders needs to get with it….and so is the Caribbean islands…V. Living in the USA 🇺🇸🇯🇲🇯🇲

    • @worldtraveler2417
      @worldtraveler2417 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Vanett Phillips: Point well taken. Unfortunately, Africa is composed of 54 independent countries with each country having its own sovereign law and individual head of state.
      These colonial boundaries have created language barriers and systems: French speaking, English speaking, Portuguese speaking, Arabic Speaking, Spanish speaking with many,many distinct African languages.
      Also, some of these African countries have compartmentalized themselves into regional blocks that make traveling from countries within these regional blocks visa free.
      Hope this visa-free travel could be applied continentally throughout the whole of Africa. Unlike Africa, United States is a single country though very big but under the jurisdiction of a federal government.

      @teejayangel6638 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes hopefully that will change soon. However the US is a country, Africa is a continent, you can't compare them. The US alone can fit in West Africa.

    • @Jossy-qk8vw
      @Jossy-qk8vw ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The US is a country ............... Africa is a continent
      The US has 50 states ............ Africa has 55 countries
      The US has 1 language .......... Africa has 2000+ languages
      African countries value their individuality from nation to tribe. Even within some tribes there are sub-tribes.
      Just one nation (country) can have as many as 200 tribes and every tribe has it's own language.
      In well organized countries like Kenya, they have an official language (English) and a national language (Swahili).
      Kenya also has other languages (more than 60) not counting lost languages.
      As much as we'd welcome a united Africa, we value our cultural identities and we cant afford to lose our languages.
      Swahili is the best language in Africa - spoken in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Congo, Mozambique, Rwanda, Burundi.
