Enjoyed traveling along with you on the voyage as usual, once again it was helpful to have you use the charts to explain the route and the decisions you were making. Also, it was nice to see your brother included along with his boat. Great job!
Really helpful. I'm using your videos to get my head around bringing my Cornish Shrimper 19 from Lytham to Pwllheli, and back, next year. Your videos are helping me get a good idea of which stops to do, and which route to go. Nothing like seeing what it looks like from the water in advance ! Thanks for keep showing the chart. That is really helpful.
@@sailingcosiloveit if you know anyone who needs crew let me know.. Based in Birkenhead and got experience... Hoping to do ym this year.... Love the way you explain stuff taught me a thing or two
I was on the jetty yesterday evening swapping the motor and general maintenance, but am moored off the Deganwy marina gate just on your right :) looking forward to part two Mike, happy sailing!
Hi Martin, suggest you go out on a friends boat first, but make sure it has a mast and he turns the engine off. Once that grips you you will never turn back. Oh I started off with fishing and motor boats, but I was hooked after the first time I sailed. Tinnies, it depends where your from I’m sure mike
Hi Thomas, if your going Holyhead to Conwy plan to be at Carmel Head for LW slack and the enjoy the flood right into Conwy. Six hours is about right mike
@@sailingcosiloveit thank you for that really appreciate it! I’ve been told a southerly is a good wind because of the shelter it will provide on the north coast of Anglesey, would you say that’s correct or okay?
Brilliant, thanks for caring to share your videos!
Welcome
Such a good video

That’s quite a sail in a shrimper, is there a reason Pwllheli is the final destination? Mike
Absolutely lovely Mike - I'd give it two thumbs up - I bet Lisa gives it 'A' thumb up too!
She said ha ha ha 😆

Nice to see someone else who uses his Genoa sheet traveler carriages the wrong way round ,Is this just a welsh coast thing ? Another great vid .
You got eyes like a hawk. Cars are not raked so didn’t think it mattered which way they run, just easier to adjust from cockpit this way. Cheers mike
How long did this take you mate? Due to being ours from Holyhead to Conwy next hear I’m planning for about 6 hours of tide.
