Struck corporations can easily get parts for your new project. This is a great find and well worth the effort! I have owned a few of these tiny machines they are very useful for there size. Don't be fooled that they are toys. They are machines to get a job done. I am a heavy equipment operator by trade originally, also a mechanic. These machines are designed for use by someone who didn't like a lawn mower or pick and shovel. They are not going to replace larger machines. They have there place, used within there limits great value for the price!
well i hope you finish that thing looks like alot of work most of it will be servicing parts as most wont be available. that would be a very neat machine to refurbish back into service.

All for getting things done but how did you learn to do things? Involve your kids, kindle some interest and who knows maybe you'll will gain some skills...like patience, tolerance and they'll want to help you when you ask and be an asset with future projects.
I never found out for sure...the carb was missing, so I assume something happened to the engine??? One bearing was seized is why it wouldn't move. After getting it going, reverse went out and I gave up on it and sold it...
I have one and that pulley wiggle is a bearing you have to split the entire machine to get that trans axle out better do a complete rebuild with all seals. you will be pissed when you put it back together and a seal leaks and still leaks to this day
just ran across this, interesting project. eager to see more but for future projects you need a MUCH better mic with windscreen. Alot of this is has to be muted the sound is so bad. Also I'd like to see more wrenching and less talking, a lot less. Just sayin
Hey man don't you love your kids he'll if that wire broke it will kill your kid keep them well away from anything that has a tight pull it just takes a weak link to snap .and should have put that snach right in middle around tow bar of trailer put a sack around the wire so if she snaps that will take the wiplash out of it think safety man ok
That's not rough shape. It ain't bent or burnt. Little surface rust, no holes through ... No reason it should free track. It's hydraulic - pump and track motors. No real neutral ...
stupidity is really scary, wouldn't it have made more sense to hook the truck up to the dozer and move it from where it was stuck in the ground, and why do you need a dozer if you don't have any more chain that that and you have a cheap little come a long, i have more crap than that in my garage at home.

We hauled it on my friend's 5X10 single axle tilt trailer... it made it okay, but it was a full load...
