Officer Sloup did not provide a full and clear Brady statement. He was cited for Brady misconduct due to this. What a MONSTER.

      He has had plenty of practice, and hears the same stories from multiple people per day. I had a job like that and like Deputy sloup had access to a computer system that let me counter them point by point.

      I try to stay very neutral when it comes to cops. I personally think this guy is a great cop in general, but if you can't see that he's patronizing people 50-75% of the time, then you're blind. Definitely not "respectful".

      Beating the life out of handcuffed suspects guilty or not just because they were mouthy? I watched on TV where a cop in Philly, ran up to a closed up car and put 5 in a guy because he had a.knife by his side? If cops don’t follow the law then there is no law. Just let me know,

    I love the way Deputy Sloup puts his point across. He makes fools out of the drivers and they don't even realize that's what he is doing. He would make a great stand up comedian.
    He should write down the comments and excuses he listens to frequently. The reason being I was in people management for many years. I wish I had written down the excuses the people would give me for different infractions. It would be great reading now and then.

    I love the guy in the Charger argues to kingdom come and gets all the citations for his infractions and the next car the woman admits and is respectful and she got the warning he wanted. So interesting how your demeanor and respect goes a long way.

    I LOVE when people would ask for a break. For example out of say 1000 stops, it would almost be exactly a 50/50 ratio between citations and warning I would issue.
    But like the guy that kept wanting a warning over and over and getting mad because he knew he was wrong and got caught…
    My reply would almost always be, “The warning was the speed limit, it warned you that if you went over that number you could get pulled over and given a ticket. Why should I give you a warning, when you were already warned?”

      Perhaps, but it wouldn’t have helped. The strong smell of marijuana gave him probable cause to search the car, so he would have found the weed anyway. But yes, I’ve told my kids to follow the law but if you find yourself in a bad situation with the police you should immediately ask for a lawyer and say nothing more.

    In my earlier life I once worked in 'Collections and Compliance' at Revenue Canada. On more than one occasion during an interview with a PART TIME taxpayer I was informed that they paid my salary! At this point I would place a nickle in front of them and say ' okay you are paid back...now let's discuss your arrears with your Income Tax account.
    Sometimes it's trying being a servant of the people!
