- Screened at over 60 International Film Festivals and Winner of 14 Prestigious Awards, this film is a first-person adaptation of the practice of taking a short, leisurely visit to a forest for health benefits. The practice originated in Japan where it is called shinrin-yoku (森林浴). Proven by scientists to benefit physical as well as mental health Shinrin-Yoku helps to lower heart rate, blood pressure, reduce stress hormone production, boost immunity and mood and improve overall feelings of wellbeing.
I camped out in the woods once durring the summer.
I had the best sleep of my life and it was the happiest time of my life.
I also had the most inspiration than i ever had in the so called "civilization"
This is beautiful and am grateful to live by woods and I am in there regularly and sit by a tree and meditate and just be with nature.....my refuge

I do this when I meditate.
this film reminds me of the walks I had when I once walked in Tasmanian forrests.. maybe some one can tell me where this was filmed? there are bamboos ( there were none in Tasmania ) but anyway a walk in a forrest is THE cure for any grief.
@05:49 filming locations. There are a few locations. I can only remember one or two are located in California. Most of them are located in national park.

No, not this particular video... location credits are at the end. Olympic Nat'l Park is amazing... and I have filmed there quite often inside the Hot Rainforest and along the coast.
