    Thanks for the video Terry! You should ask the Adobe folks if they can include HSL/color grading sliders in the masks to allow for local adjustments

    This seems like a good place to ask why is there a classic version? The only difference that I am aware of is that classic let’s me use my own storage, but why not just incorporate that into the standard version?

  • @BenSussmanpro

    Thanks for this new version tutorial. But I still don’t have a use case for LR- Non-classic. I see it as a dumbed-down version of Classic. Am I missing something?

    thanks for the video, it is helpful. The Lightroom edit is Photoshop select version is only showing one version. I have the current version and beta. Is there another setting for that to show both versions?

    Thank you for the video. The ai denoise doesn't work for .dng files from my phone, is there a way I can convert it?

  • @ArmandoDuarte
    @ArmandoDuarte ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you.
    Denoise is not available in all file formats. But worst than this, is that denoise is not available in photos converted to dng with lossy compression... That is a huge limitation, because till now, i used to convert almost every photos with this option, as it saves a lot a space (2/3 aprox) with no visible efects or limitations. Till now...

  • @dwntwndave

    would you make all of your edits prior to denoise, or do you think denoise should one of the first things you should do?

    • @TerryLeeWhite
      @TerryLeeWhite  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would denoise then edit as denoising after the edits could effect the way the look.

  • @apeel2008

    Does it matter whether sharpening is done before or after Denoise? Or do you end up with the same result independent of the order they are performed?

      I would do it after.

  • @stevejarvis186

    You do confuse me a bit Terry when you describe each version of Lightroom as opposed to other presenters on YT and I have to think `which is he talking about now` all the time. I believe the others are less confusing in calling LIghtroom Classic, the desktop version, mobile the one for phones and web for the cloud based version. Also its about time Adobe bought video editing in for Lightroom Classic or desktop version now, as I believe its been available on phone version or mobile for a while. Great video though Terry, thanks.

    Why, in Lightroom (not classic) do the library, develope ... modules not show in the top menu as in the classic version?

    • @TerryLeeWhite
      @TerryLeeWhite  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because that version doesn’t have modules.

    The results look good but very slow. +10 minutes for 33mp file. Estimates are 15-18 minutes. I have a i-5 12600k, SSD and 32 GB of ram. Task Manager shows the onboard GPU at 100% the whole time. Probably won't use very often.

      Terry what spec is the computer you were useing to get it down to 20sec. Thanks

    • @oldsport500
      @oldsport500 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlecSilke since I posted this comment about being slow, I bought a Nvidia rtx3050 card ($279) and it now takes 15-20 seconds. I see a lot of people having trouble with the Intel A750 and A770 cards so be careful with those.

    Yeah really great Adobe, we get Denoise (where have I seen that name before) but loose all the functionality of Enhance, really! I'll stay with Topaz.
